Down there with 1986, but with fewer highlights. I've struggled catching up.
 
Think I'll skip the Xmas Day episode.

Can't decide if I'd have a nice evening with Chris Isaak or not.
 
Just what was the purpose of the Grease Megamix? Like I saw I've Had The Time of My Life re-entering the charts in 1991, assuming it was the TV premiere of Dirty Dancing, but can't think of anything Grease related at the time. It had been on TV a lot already and the West End revival wasn't until 1993.

I just looked and there seem to have been several VHS releases through the 80s so maybe not

I'm not sure if I thought that much about Seal at the time, but by buggery he's set my arsehole aflutter on these repeats.
 
And then in the next episode this truly terrible Night Fever megamix featuring stock footage of old racist cartoons.
 
I love me some saccharine 80s 90s ballads, therefore I do enjoy Get Here. Not sure if the Arab man lyric has aged well.
 
Do the Bartman was truly rubbish. I think I liked it at the time. I never saw an episode until about 1995.

It really is awful, I think Deep Deep Trouble featuring Marcella Detroit on diva vocals might be a bit better.

I tried to blame my brother for the Simpsons cassette we had in our house back then but he suggested it was mine. SURELY NOT

I did love that Railway Children song back then. I remembered it as being a bit of a bigger hit than it was.

The brief clip of Stevie B was enough of a reminder of that horror.
 
1990 was pretty grim. A lot of follow-ups to medium hits of which I had no memory. 1991 already feels a bit more fun.
 
That DJ H feat. Stefy song sampling Aretha Franklin, but getting some super skinny model to mime to the words (badly) was quite ridiculous.
