DEAR GOD! The other woman is gonna make the top 20 this week, and I just noticed he barely made the singles chart too this very week... at #98, thank god. Truly disgusting all this.

I like the song, but it does seem ODD this has struck SUCH a cord and been so successful.

No in the UK.

As it has now been in the chart for at least ten weeks (exactly ten in this case) and its streams have fallen for three weeks in a row, the value of those streams has been cut in half

Oh it’ll float now where it is no doubt. That is the silly thing with this rule, it knocks it down to wherever but then the record will just spend the next however many weeks around that position.

Can’t complain at 9 weeks at number one though

oh well. could be. but in my own view what people describe as "queerbaiting" is truly the very least offensive or problematic thing the gays are dealing with right now and it's always a load of sweaty old balls over nothing.

if he wants to say Harry Styles is HOT then let the boy LIVE his GAY FOR A DAY FANTASAY.
 
I can see why queerbaiting could be bad, but he was just talking himself into a corner and made a joke

The whole thing is so cynically calculated (probably all covered by her payola), and I hate the tay the LGBTQ community is used/referred to in in this way.

Isn't the net effect of something like this to a teen audience something along the lines of 'it's ok if you feel this way' though?
