TOPICAL.

Morning all. Happy holiday that isn't a holiday but I least I get the coronation.
 
Got out of bed about 9am and it looked like it was going to be a glorious day so I decided I'd do some gardening later. Less than two hours later and it's bashing down outside so I see no point in getting dressed any more.
 
It absolutely tipped it down here last night. Must have made its way south.
 
Yeah it's pissing down out there! But it has been at otherwise mild and sunny Easter Weekend
 
They had the same issues 100 years ago

What are we all doing on this glorious Easter Monday? Like Floppet I am still in my pyjamas and plan on walking the dog in them shortly as luckily I live in the middle of nowhere and rarely see anyone on my jaunts. You can take the girl out of Glenties, but you can’t take Glenties out of the girl.

I had a vegan cooked breakfast and I have a PT session at 2pm and then I’ll probably do a bit of studying for a few hours then read some more of the Reach for the Stars book I got last week. I also need to book my flight for my holiday to Gran Canaria next month. Nothing too exciting but it’s nice just to have an extra day to chill.

What does a vegan cooked breakfast consist of? I've always wondered what replaces all the pig-meat products and egg but I don't actually know any vegans to ask them.
 
Just got back from a weekend of field dwelling. Pooped.

Not a good Easter to be a fairly anonymous guitarist who has contributed to massive music moments.

Lasse Wellander, frequent guitarist for Abba in the studio and part of their live band died yesterday at 70, and Ian Bairnson of the Alan Parsons Project and Pilot, and frequent contributor to Kate Bush (including the guitar solo which closes Wuthering Heights), died on Good Friday at 69.

Two types of vegan sausage, vegan black pudding, an egg free omelette which is more like a veggie potato grill thing, potato scone and beans. Was rather tasty, though I’d ran out of ketchup which was annoying.
 
I LOVE a potato scone. They are more of a Scottish and Irish thing though, aren't they? I don't remember seeing them on an English menu for ages, if at all.

Very much so. The English seem to have adopted the hash brown over the potato scone and I never understood why.

I love a hash brown as well.

I just want BOTH, not either/or!
 
I remember eating a potato scone with butter and my daughter thinking I would die of food poisoning for eating “raw tattie scones” :DAF:

Anyway I’m only being bitter because I’m horribly peckish, Ronald’s not delivering and I can’t be fucked getting out of bed
