Ozzy Osbourne DEAD

God, he literally hauled his way to that concert and knew he could go when it was done.

RIP. One of the greatest voices in rock history and one of the funniest too. God bless you, Ozzy.
 
Incredible that he lasted so long, and touching that he got to do one last show.
 
Ooh, a big one. I know he was well known before, but The Osbournes really was HUGE in the 00s. Made him a silly level of famous, at least with basic (AT THE TIME) people like me.

Despite not exactly being a shock, not a single one of us had him on the Deathlist
 
Very here for a rerun of the The Osbournes. As a 14 year old who definitely shouldn't have been watching it, it really opened my eyes to the world of reality TV. Totally paved the way for classics like Being Bobby Brown, the Real Housewives series and Totally Scott Lee
 
even though he was not well for ages this does feel shocking, I guess because the final show was so recent. RIP...

A truly legendary person both for his rock persona but also being one of the true originals of the reality tv genre. What a man.
 
The Osbournes is one of the very few trash reality shows I still have fondness for. Considering how out of it he was in 2002, to have made it to 2025 is actually a hell of an achievement.
 
He must be right up there for genuinely legendary figures in popular music with the WORST sole #1 hit to their credit.

The Osbournes was such a fun show. How we started with this problematic but highly entertaining clan and got to the Kardashians surely marks a point of decline in modern society. The Comeback being the exception.
 
I will not have all this Osborne re-evaluation.

I say this not to diss him but as a point of interest, I included a round on naming the most streamed songs by Ozzy or Black Sabbath in a quiz yesterday, and almost everyone was totally stumped. And yet, when you look at his streaming numbers they're massive, including 1.2billion for Paranoid, 800m for Crazy Train etc.

I assumed I just didn't know because he's the opposite of gay interest, but that style of heavy metal really is both massively popular and remarkable insular, isn't it?

It wasn't a particularly young audience either.

Surely Iron Man is more well known now for obvious reasons.
