So a good friend was badgering me for weeks to watch this and I finally gave the pilot a go and... well.

I can't actually say anything about it because the best way to watch this is without any prior knowledge. I didn't know anything about it and I'm glad I didn't. If you like mystery shows that reveal new twists and turns regularly then it's worth checking out the first episode.

Also Julianne Nicholson is a total QOL in it and I think she deserves an Emmy nomination. Sterling K Brown is hotly tipped for a Best Actor nom this year.

I checked the trailer first - If you need some incentive the trailer isn't too spoilery at all, it spoils one thing that gets revealed early on in the first episode, but it holds back on everything else.

Finished this. Ridiculous at times but extremely watchable and deliciously sets up a second season.

Has some thematic similarities to Silo even though this is present day.

Just been nominated for best drama, best actor and best supporting actress at the Emmys.

Season 2 is has started, and I watched the first episode tonight - amazing. A very ballsy stratgegy by

opening with a bottle episode featuring entirely new characters and surroundings, and nothing from Season 1, except for the expected (and satisfying) linkup at the end

. It all worked. And Shailene Woodley is a fantastic addition to the cast. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

Just watched the first episode. I thought it was going to be a bit annoying with the constant allusions to something but I had my suspicions about the big reveal at the end, and I am intrigued.
