Paul O'Grady DEAD

He always came across as such a warm and lovely person. RIP

Oh how sad, that’s not old… though I must admit I thought he was older than 67

WTF? I had tickets to see the touring version of Annie at the end of the year and believe he was supposed to be alternating the role of Miss Hannigan with Craig Revel Horwood :o How dreadful.

Oh that's sad news. I have fond memories of Lily Savage on the Big Breakfast bed.

Didn't really watch much else of his work, but I respected his position as an elder British queen.

Can't believe they're all gone now :(

That's very sad news, so sudden too. I'm sure people will have their stories but he always came across as being a genuinely nice guy.

This is so sad and quite shocking. I’m not sure why as he had a hard attack about 20 years ago and has had a great innings since, but he just seemed so untouchable.

Sad to hear of Paul O'Grady's passing 😔
I first heard of him when Cilla Black had died, and his great friendship with her. Also from For The Love of Dogs, and I had recently seen an old version of Blankety Blank, where he was Lily Savage, of course :D
Rest in peace, thoughts 🙏 💭

Obviously it's a reflection on who I follow, but this must be by some distance the biggest celebrity death on my Instagram.
