Has anyone been watching this? Spinoff from the last Suicide Squad movie, starring John Cena as a self-styled superhero/deranged murderer... I decided to give it a go today (unsure what to expect) and two episodes in it's really bloody good, so far it's staying just the right side of LUDICROUS, and Cena is surprisingly likeable. It also has an instantly iconic opening sequence:

And NO it doesn't seem to be legally viewable in the UK at the moment :(

Will have to watch it later on (just because).

I found it a bit strange that Dominic West would play such a role, but it turned out it’s someone else. They look almost identical (or is it just me?).

I find it odd that John Cena has just now broken through into Hollywood, because he was quite the looker 20 years ago in an all American jock kinda way, but now he just looks 40 going on 80. He has NOT aged well. He's not a bad comedic actor though, so more power to him.

Right, I've now caught up on the five episodes that are currently available and I'm prepared to declare this as excellent so far! It's managed to make me get pretty invested in the characters without me realising, it's been good at getting me to like them while not really TRUSTING them. The episodes have been very well-paced so far... a lot happens each episode while still throwing in HOT TWISTS and cliffhangers - it doesn't have the problem some of the Disney+ Marvel shows do where the episode spins its wheels until the last two minutes, then throws in a 'moment' to get you back next week. I sort of regret binging it over the weekend though, I should have portioned them out more because now I'm on the weekly schedule

This is now on Sky but under the Sky Max brand which has put me off coz I only watch Sky Atlantic but is it good?

I loved it! Just really well done comic-book nonsense, it kept me quite gripped all the way through.
