I don't know any of the later work apart from Your Sweetness is Your Weakness as it was on the DVD. I must stick the DVD back on at some point.

What is this I read about the 'Youthquake' discs in the box set being in MONO (:D:zombie:) and various other issues, not least there being a break between 'Then There Was You' and 'Come Inside' on 'Mad, Bad And Dangerous To Know' when they should SEGUE? I mean for PETE'S SAKE :grr:

Edsel is sending out replacements which is nice, but it does seem like every second reissue project these days has some sort of mistake
 
Regular superdeluxeedition readers will be more than familiar with the phrase "Edsel? I'll wait....".

It seems 8 of the 19 discs have some sort of problem. Oops.
 
I'm rather relieved that I cancelled my order (AGAIN) as the errors would have enraged me. Particularly the fucked up segue
 
I probably wouldn't have even noticed but as a superdeluxeedition regular I can't really ignore it.

It's a bit rum given the time and attention that has gone into it, but at least Edsel are going out of their way to fix things.
 
The tabloids have reported that POOR PETE was SKINT when he carked and Boy George is paying for his funeral.

I have high hopes with the Daily Mail coverage of the funeral.

Oh absolutely. As a DEAR FRIEND of PETE'S told The Sun, he wasn't best known for any level of organisation, which I can well imagine.

I noticed several people on Twitter only realised he was DEAD (some still doubt it), when they announced it was a TRIBUTE TO HIM after the performance.

I've cancelled my boxset now- will wait for the second pressing and (hopefully) all of the issues sorted out.

Did anyone see that last interview with with on Channel 5 last week?
 
I assume the funeral has been and gone. Nothing online about it ANYWHERE.
 
Has the funeral STILL not happened or even been scheduled? I was going to take some yellow carnations and everything :(

I cancelled mine too but will reorder once it's back in stock and they've solved all the problems that were on the discs...

Free replacement CDs are being sent out already. I think they completely repressed 3 or 4 of them.

All you do is ping them an email and they put them in the post.

It's happening more and more often these days. Apparently the latest Yazz rerelease is rife with problems and the £400 Pink Floyd set is all sorts of WONKY too.
