Peter Andre is BACK

Isn't he on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend? How the FUCK did he get THAT? I can only assume someone at least half decent cancelled.
 
I would be MAJORLY shocked if he did, it seems like such a ridiculous place for HIM of all people to turn up :D

Although he's hardly going to get an X Factor slot, is he?

Peter Andre will perform his new single 'Defender' on this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing.

The pop singer is the latest big name act secured for the BBC One programme following the performance of Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow in the series opener earlier this month.

Speaking about his reasons for playing the reality show, Andre said: "I am so honoured to be performing on Strictly Come Dancing, I love the show so much.

"It seems an ideal show for the first performance of my new single ‘Defender’, especially as the video is based around a very complex and testing dance routine. It'll be great to premiere it in front of some professional dancers!"

Strictly continues on Saturday at 6pm on Saturday, followed by the results show at 7pm on Sunday.

It's not a really bad song. It's just a shame he's singing it.

Well it's a far better song than "Behind Closed Doors" or "Unconditional".

In his defence, his album last year sold over 250K and he's just sold out a massive arena tour with tickets at £50 each!

I just read in the NOTW that ASDA are stocking 100K of the physical !?

I think he could edge top 10 with the physicals..

He's such a curious chart presence, isn't he? Absolutely no relevance to any particular audience but retains a loyal following.

I'll have to wheel out the usual comparison and say that some No.1s in 2004/05 were selling less than 20k to get to the top!
