I don’t know. I have been watching a lot more day time tv recently and quite a few of the Loose Women are anything but bland. I don’t agree with a lot of what they say but they are certainly feisty and far from bland. Piers Morgan, again is a bit of a cunt but is anything but dull.

Mid morning TV is a STRANGE BEAST though.

And the point of Loose Women is essentially for them to present as opinionated, isn't it? Although I haven't watched it for well over a decade.

No idea Piers Morgan did daytime TV.

Alison Hammond is incredibly likeable but I don’t think the main This Morning hosting job is a great fit for her. Dermot (dull) usually has to keep her right as she seems to have little knowledge of what is going on in the World which isn’t ideal on a majority current affairs show. The fun segments she absolutely excels at though.

I agree with this. She’s not a good lead at all but is perfect for 5-10 minute features.

Rochelle does This Morning, but I haven’t seen Marvin doing it recently? I like Rochelle, and she has a very similar presenting style to Holly. The much more natural successor to Holly I would have thought.

I love the format and the song choices but the fact lists they recite sometimes seem excessive. Again though, they are good at what they do.

For week September 5 - 11, the top episode of This Morning got 923k viewers. The top Good Morning Britain got 812k, and no episode of Loose Women featured in the ITV top 50, which means it was less than 806k.

She hosted 3 seasons of Britain's Next Top Model (though I can't say I saw much of it). I think she guest hosted like 3 episodes of This Morning at some point in the 10s but never came back. I imagine her whirlwind romance with George Clooney is why she dropped off our TV sets.
