Of course. It’s all a load of OLD TOSH. They were the medias sweethearts for long enough and now, like most celebrities get in their careers it is their time to be brought down a peg or two.
 
They are clearly still popular with a majority of the public though so although shit has been thrown it has not quite stuck.
 
Let's face it, the majority of the public don't give a shit either way.

Then of the people who do have an opinion it'll be a small group who don't like them, but their voices will be amplified the most. And like Sheena says above, these negative stories will be little more than three people spouting shite on twitter.

One million percent. I think the fact that they won that award again last night after the media backlash means they are still very much in favour of those that do care though.
 
A lot of stories in the media saying that they have fell out and he will be out the door soon.

I also read a super injunction from the young runner expires in July so I imagine shit will hit the fan then.
 
I am not liking how it’s looking like Dan Wooton is getting one up on him though.

Apparently the fall out was over something relatively minor. Not that he has paedophile brother or clearly likes them young as well.

That is certainly what it looks like. She is ditching him as she doesn’t want him to tarnish HER GOOD NAME.
 
If the young guy was 18 or over (which I am assuming he would have to be to work on the show) then I am not really sure why a super injunction was in place? :confused:

ITV want to keep Holly at all costs, so I am assuming they will throw Phil under the bus, especially if something is coming out about him in the not so distant future.
 
I have just found someone’s twitter discussing it but I wouldn’t have a clue if he is just a CRACKPOT, and as I am not a member of twitter it won’t let me read it all.
 
Not sure of the validity of it or who the hell he is and where he is getting his info from but that’s where I read it.
 
£30k a week though. If true there's got to be some disgusting details worth hiding.

He seems rather obsessed with him.

A lot of the hatred towards him seems to be tinged with homophobia and utilised by anti vaxxer loons.

I'd be inclined to hold out for something more verifiable, than the current rumours.

Where are you seeing homophobia? Is that guy a homophobe? :confused:
 
I would tend to agree though that he could easily just be obsessed with him or something and none of it is set and stone and I do believe in the term innocent until proven guilty.

Homophobia isn't always direct. I think this guy is gay, but several others seem like the types who shout FAGGOT in Fairytale in NY.

I can’t see the comments, and it is very sad if it does come from a place of homophobia. I personally just find him smug, and arrogant.

The way the media have been gunning for Phil for ages now is pretty unpleasant to watch. They seem to have learned nothing from the likes to Caroline Flack who was driven to suicide as a result of their stories. I'm not saying Phil is on the brink of suicide, but there seems to be a pattern building.

I think the rumour about him having some sort of relationship with the young runner (which could include platonic) is fairly substantiated by this point.

That said, I agree that the hatred that has built towards Phil is heavily motivated by homophobia. A lot of people who suddenly claim to “just not like him” since 2020…
 
Tuned in for the start of this today and must say unless they are Oscar winning performers the stories in the media are RUBBISH. They are clearly still friends.

We wouldn't know it even if he was though, which is the frightening thing

It does seem odd all the press at the moment, there is either no smoke without fire and he's a NIGHTMARE or there is a witchunt and he's upset people. Just very odd, and seems to have heightened after the thing with his brother?

Eamonn Holmes has went in on him now too. If he is this horrible, unreasonable, evil man then by all means go in on him BUT it is hard to hate him when we have no clue of what he is supposed to have done. Yes, accusations are getting thrown around left right and centre but until we know the facts I would prefer to give him the benefit of the doubt even though I don’t particularly care for him on what I have watched of him on This Morning.
