This show deserves its own thread. Essentially an allegory for the hell we’ve unleashed by allowing AI to take over our lives. But also very, very funny!

I never watched Better Call Saul but Rhea Seahorn is giving a tour de force in this.



The combination of pathos and humour is so well balanced so far. I’m praying they manage to stick the landing.

I’m an episode behind and it hasn’t quite CLICKED for me yet though I’m enduring as I’m sure it will. I’m struggling to see how they stretch this concept over just one season, let alone multiple, unless we get either A. an end of season twist like the Good Place. Or B. An ill-fated Westworld style universe expansion.

I was feeling a little like this, but the latest episode clicked things into gear again for me. It's hilarious actually. I compared it to The Good Place on popjustice (a non good place), but they started to cry and seizure up like in the show.

I guess bring on the Paraguay guy as of course Carol was going to get that reception even if it at least brought someone a little closer to her.

This was PISSING ME THE FUCK OFF until the last scene. I appreciate the SLOWNESS as a statement of INTENT, but it really does luxuriate in itself a little TOO MUCH.

I guess now I realise how they’re going to stretch the concept out over 4 seasons.

So whilst this week's episode was fine, I did not enjoy last week and really do not want to watch several seasons of this, at least at this pacr. Next season I'll watch in one go as it's just not strong enough to justify the drip feed of weekly episodes. I will enjoy it a lot more via a binge. I was shouting "don't fall for it Carol" when she leaned in for a kiss.

I could handle the slow pace if people were capable of releasing seasons ANNUALLY, it’s the fact nothing’s happened ahead of the season finale, then it’s two years for the next batch of episodes to inch forward the plot at a glacial pace!

Is it confirmed that we’re not getting the next batch until 2027?

Despite having a two season order from the get-go they apparently haven’t started season 2 yet.

Well that’s annoying.

They’ve taken the ’misanthropic woman copes with living alone with a society of perma-friendly AI robots’ thing about as far as they can, so I’m assuming next week’s finale will end on some kind of paradigm-shifting twist to set up season 2.

We get a very exciting THIRD CHARACTER next episode don’t forget!

Decent finale but God, I found Carol frustrating throughout!

I'm glad they've kept the most annoying episode until the last. I'm 27 minutes in. Carol being smug for no reason other than she got some nookie. All these "mistako" quips sure are grating.

Carol is officially the worst TV character I can think of right now. So the guy clearly seems to be onto something in terms of curing one of them and she.... grabs her gun. Fuck. Off.

Well, I was ready to throw the towel in and declare that I won't be watching anymore seasons, but if Carol has snapped out of it then I'm back in. Jesus though. I absolutely cannot recommend anyone start watching this though. Thank goodness the new Fallout episode also dropped early.

Just finished this and I watched the whole thing in one go. I’m in two minds about it, on one hand I like the concept and the whole post-apocalyptic world they created but on the other the characters leave me rather cold. There’s some humour, but it’s not funny. And it’s not serious enough to be moving.
