Post a former hit with less than a million Spotify streams

I genuinely wonder what % of those 'Higher Than Heaven' streams are ME. I suspect not an insignificant number. :D

#9 in 2002

There's a lovely film about John Otway on Netflix that covers the whole Bunsen Burner campaign - it was entirely fan created, the purpose being to give him a hit for his 50th birthday. There was even an online poll for which recording should be the A-side. It almost makes you sad that such business is impossible in today's charts.

The unfortunately named Rhianna with 2002's 'Oh Baby' - peaked at #18

I wonder how many of those 615k streams were inadvertent?

This piece of CAMP NONSENSE that popped up on shuffle today

730k, UK #9

This surprisingly TOLERABLE radio mix

Less than 600k across different versions; UK #2

This one rejected by Natalie Imbruglia for not being breezy and evidently not very relistenable

UK #8, 832k

Surely Holly's gay streams have dropped precipitously now that she's outed herself as a far-right wanker?

Usually being outed as EVIL grants a career boost :(

See Morgan Wallen, Tory Lanez, and Roisin Murphy

(But not Katy Perry)

Snatched the first top 10 album of her career in the immediate wake of the TERFY stuff :(

Clea - Download It

127k streams :(

And The Lie (not a hit, granted, but still) is at an OUTRAGEOUS 12k.

Moopy Sings... Jane McDonald.

Listen as Vicky the Vole tackles Jai Ho! (has never heard of it - RIP), Inner Smile goes fist deep into hidden gem "Down Under" and Big Ron unleashes his vox on "Let's Get Loud".
