Here's one for you Octy. I consider it the Christmas song equivalent of a wet Monday morning

I know the album sold millions, but that Celine song already mentioned (Christmas Eve) absolutely should be in mainstream rotation.

This absolutely tanked at whatever ASFM I put it in, but it's so good and sensual - like vintage peak Sophie B. Hawkins pouring a romantic bath for kd lang.

Oh, the mighty Wedding Present, in their pomp. They did a decent buzzsaw take of Step Into Christmas for the b-side of that too. When I used to do my own covers of Xmas songs, this was one of the ones I did. Loooong time ago now, mid-late 00s.

Haha that prompted my rediscovery of the Cheeky Girls (they were on the CBeebies show Space Pirates; Enya was shown in 2008, and they were there in-person in 2007 )
