Top 20 in 1999, but the remix wouldn't peak until 2004
No recollection of the 2004 re-release!
This was the version that was on the UK releases and radio. The version you posted only came out in the UK on the album (sorry the erasure of the hit version in the streaming age is a bugbear of mine!!)I'm sorry but this version is awfulI've never heard it before in my life. I owned the CD single and it was definitely not there.
This completely forgotten remix which is nonetheless one of the warmest and loveliest dance records in existence
I have this on physical and it's the version of the video I posted. I literally had no idea there was a single mix released instead! Overseas, we only had the album version released. This was the version that was on the UK releases and radio. ATB - 9pm (Till I Come)
ATB became king of import in 1999, but the low-charting import version would ultimately usurp a huge UK #1 hit.substack.com
Melanie "G" on Disc 1 with notorious flop Word Up!I have this on physical and it's the version of the video I posted. I literally had no idea there was a single mix released instead! Overseas, we only had the album version released.

That X Cabs mix is stunning. And really does elevate the track from its original sounds like 9pm form. I love how the full mix at the end just breaks away bit by bit till there’s nothing left.I will absolutely second that the UK edits of both ATB songs are superior to the "main" European originals.
Particularly the X-Cabs "Don't Stop" which had a wonderful FRANTIC energy
I think a lot of countries got the album version but in almost all those countries it was a minor or at best mid table hit. Whereas in the UK it was a stratospheric hit!I have this on physical and it's the version of the video I posted. I literally had no idea there was a single mix released instead! Overseas, we only had the album version released.
