Post your very earliest music memories

Omg yes to all of them. My auntie was a huge Toyah fan. She was the youngest and still living at home when I would stay at my nans house, and she would play these pop-punk records. I was most confused because they sounded nothing like what my parents were listening to
I once -not nearly so long ago as I feel comfortable with (11 years ago) went on a date with a 6’4 Toyah fan and we ended up back at his in the middle of, frankly, who the fuck knows, when he changed his mind. Middle of know where. No cabs. Just full fat awks.

My first 'girlfriend' was a Toyah fan.

She also had a pool table in her bedroom.

Jason Donovan - Any Dream Will Do and Chesney Hawkes - The One And Only are my earliest music memories. I was 4/5.

My sister has both the Kylie and Jason debut era VHS tapes. So all the singles from both those albums. Then Freddie Mercury's death and benefit concert. And ABBA Gold on a summer holiday to Ireland in 1992-3.

The first song I was truly obsessed with was Eternal Flame by the Bangles. My sister eventually got me the Everything album. I didn't even have any English back then and learned the songs phonetically.

Ah yes of course. I was 4 years old and a bridesmaid for my aunt. The ONLY thing I remember from that day was singing The Chicken Song with my cousins:
