Posters of the week - 11/03/2020

I fully expect (AND REQUIRE) Moopy to be active and fun during lockdown. Life is going to be so fucking tedious.

As I said, I still think we should do some CORONA BASED promotion :disco:

No, I started the quarantine on friday evening, have no intention to leave the flat in the next 2 weeks.

Are you no bored RIGID? I am dreading the inevitable lockdown but am seeking solace in the fact I will still be able to take the dog out, and go out jogging myself.

Mr Sheena said this too. "Oh it'll be ok, I can still go for a run".

What part of lockdown do people not understand?

I am, but thank god I am by myself, I can't imagine doing this sharing the flat. Still doing lot of stuff around the house.

So we can’t? I have read so many conflicting stories over the weekend. I would have assumed lockdown meant not leaving the house at all, but am also reading people can still take dogs for a walk, or go to the shop for supplies?

It depends. In Italy and Spain, I believe, it's essential trips only.

In China it was the same- people were allowed out once every 3 days to get food, I believe.

You're facing a fine if you go out for a run here now.

I live in the middle of nowhere. I don’t have any neighbours directly. Surely police won’t be monitoring the depths of the countryside? I rarely come in to contact with anyone up here on a good day. I do have an elderly farmer couple up the hill from me, so would like to make sure they are OK.

Lockdown means that you don't leave your house unless it's absolutely necessary. Walking the dog here is ok, going out for a run or walking around with your kids isn't. You can still go out if you need to go to work, buy food, pharmacies are also open, and not much else.
Some experts are claiming you can get infected simply walking down the street, and recommend to use shoes only for going out and leaving them outside for a few hourse. At least that's what I got but it could be fake news, because nobody really knows.

Obviously police won't be monitoring the countryside, I can see from my window police cars patrolling, because some idiots won't stay at home.

Again, you need to do that remotely. Send them a note, give them a call. Knocking on their door gives them exposure they don't need- something else people are failing to understand with their do-good posts on Facebook suggesting you knock on elderly neighbours' doors 3 times a week...

And I'm thinking of going to the supermarket next week, because I'm going to run out of milk and some other products. I can cook and be able to have decent meals, so it isn't indispensable, and I think supermarkets is the worst place where you can't go right now, crowded and full of hystericals that won't stay away from you. So I'm probably not going anywhere.

See, I live opposite the beach with a common in between it. I could easily be a fair distance away from people to get outside...

I was thinking active as posters that logged in, even when some didn't post. Can we have a list of those and tag them?

All these people online and no one making new posts. I know ya'll sad, but chop chop.
