I still personally prefer Julia Roberts because I love her warmth (and would love to start a thread for her for more insufferable fashion posts), but Nicole's talent and trajectory have been nothing short of phenomenal. Even her 'bad' stuff is amazing.

Interestingly, in the 1990s, I don't think she was the obvious candidate to become the auteur of her generation.
