Sitting in the waiting room just now after just ordering a caramel latte, the lady made a drink and handed it to me without stating what drink it was (as far as I could see I was the only one who had paid and was waiting for a large drink). I sit down and a few minutes later she comes up to me with a really horrible unnecessary attitude ''excuse me you ordered a caramel latte and that's a cookie crumble' :D and practically snatched it from me in front of everyone there. Horrible attitude, although the man who took the piece and payment seemed lovely.

Less a review than an exercise in CREATIVE WRITING:

Ugh ... where do i begin? I’ve just had the most horrendous experience - absolutely shocking !! When asking for a salted caramel latte, i was not greeted with a friendly smile whatsoever by the woman in the cafe (the guy was lovely), but rather was greeted with a cold bitter stare. I noticed my coffee was not up to standards with what i withmessed in the displayed picture - i asked for whipped cream, which was not offered to me, and this short haired blonde woman had the audacity to give me a glare, followed by the tiniest amount of whipped cream i have ever received. Not only this but also the coffee was absolutely revolting, it tasted like cholera infected water???? Furthermore, the food, not only was overpriced as was everything else in ther shop, but also tasted of plastic - i did not want to pay £7 for these two pieces of depression.

Staff person was rude, very slow and altogether not at all welcoming. She then refused to serve a young mother hot water to feed her baby. Got aggressive with mother when she asked to buy a cup of tea but not to put teabag in. Never witnessed anything like it. It upset my 6yr old daughter. They then ganged up on mother with station staff. Was disgusted as they made out she was a rubbish mother and should have come prepared. Wont be recommending this cafe at all. All that and was way too expensive as well.

To be fair that was Blackpool North. Being ganged up on, I call a lucky escape.

I think they got rid of the one at Manchester Oxford Road and Piccadilly is FAR TOO UPMARKET these days :(

I've just been reading reviews for the Temple Meads boutique. Frankly I feel like I've missed my vocation in life.

Awful service. Rude girls who couldn't stop swearing and bad mouthing their customers.

The staff are generally unhelpful, moany and slow.

lady working at the time was rude and abrupt.

Disgusting customer service. I was not spoken to once.

Horrible service. Very bad attitude to the customers.
I’m liking the rude girls who couldn’t stop swearing :disco:

WELL I LIKE FUCKING LIKE SAID TO HIM LIKE ARE YOU LIKE GONNA SHOVE YOUR LIKE FUCKING COCK UP MY LIKE CUNT OH MAND DO LIKE KEEP AN EYE ON THAT LIKE EXPRESSO THIS FUCKING CUNT’S BEEN HERE LIKE FIVE HOURS :disco:

I have no problem with the station but with the staff in the pumpkin cafe, I ordered a cup of tea off a very rude man I found the tea was mainly milk so was cold and weak, I asked the gentleman of I could have a fresh one with less milk when he snapped 'I did ask you how much milk you wanted the first time' he didn't ask me! He then poured the top part off tea away and filled it up with hot water! So I now have a cup of hot water with a bit of milk! It cost me £1.95 for a cup of hot water! I will never make the mistake of using the service again at any station! Very rude man needs a course in customer service!

We can probably conclude that SO-CALLED MILLIE offers none of the BOUTIQUE STANDARDS dished up by WILDLY POPULAR PUMKIN :disco:
OH I DON'T KNOW...

Hygiene needs to be improved. I ordered a milkshake and the lady serving had a bad cough, she kept coughing into her hands then kept handling the cup, lid and straw even though she hadnt washed her hands. Didnt really want to take the drink after that but did anyway. Also saw her hands go very close to the cookies after coughing.

Hate to JUMP ON A BANDWAGON DARLING :eyes: but

very disappointed when i asked for water to be told that "they don't have drinkable cold water" .when i questioned what they used for their own drinks was told it was "different" felt like a poor excuse and that i was being fobbed off.

From Coventry

The service is non-existent. No manners or communication. We brought 2 lattes on the quick as our train was due. The lattes were lukewarm and it tasted as the coffee was burnt. Unfortunately we couldn't get a refund as we are on the train home. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Dehydration is better than the coffee and service there.

It happened in Leamington Spa station, platform 2. The person who served me didn’t put lead on my latte and I spilled 1/3 of it on my clothes and then she told me that if I don’t like it, then I don’t have to buy coffee from them the next time. So unfriendly and unprofessional. Customers have nothing to do with the fact she hates her job and she shouldn’t spoil costumer’s mood on Saturday morning.

Rude old woman with greyish bob who when severed me with no que behind myself then told me if I hadn't got a right card not to bother coming into the cafe I was only trying to work out which card was which after she huffed and puffed and said well your not going anywhere I've made the coffee I replied I will sort out my cards and come back over and she said numerous things under her breath I had found my card and went back to the get the already made coffee that tasted like burnt milk. I'm a restaurant manager and I know that a latte is not made to the point the milks burnt. I said sorry on murmurous occasions she didn't even answer me back just ignored me and said is your card even going to work this time.
Rude rude rude!!!!
Never been served by a woman so bad in my life
. Where's customer service these days.

CREWE

The staff were pleasant enough and the tea was fine, but the floors and walls were filthy!! So many crumbs on the floor it was as if there had been a toddler party prior to our visit! Dried ketchup squirts up the wall and all sorts of other stains. The staff were eating and drinking behind the till and then serving food without washing their hands before hand. I probably wouldn’t of noticed the mess as much if it was busy but it was deadly quiet and the staff were chatting behind the till. Avoid!

If you want watery 1960's coffee and a microwaved mini bacon sandwich served by miserable ignorant staff who are more concerned with each other then go here. I would suggest take your own or go somewhere else, disgusting

Bought a takeaway glass of wine as our train to Blackpool was approaching the platform. Paid contactless , boarded train and sat down. Suddenly the woman who had served us started waving at us and summonsed us to the open door, told us the contactless payment had not gone through, and it was a recurring problem with their machine and we must pay cash. I only had a £5 note but she wanted the exact money as train was due to depart. My daughter managed to get £3.50 in coins and we handed it over. The train doors closed and luckily we did not get our hands and arms caught in them as I I had to get my fiver back. On checking my on line banking today, I saw the original payment has been debited accordingly. We have been charged just under £7 for a glass of wine and been ripped off. I will be objecting to the firm being suitable to hold an operating licence at a main line railway station.

Disgusting
Absolutely shocking lack of service from Marylyn in Prestons pumpkin on platform 2 .... huge q and marylyn was counting stock ( right next to the till point !) I asked if she could help clear the q as the young lad was struggling making coffees and was told everyone was getting trains and she was busy counting !!!!!

I ended up having to leave my £7 worth of goods as my train pulled up an I had to get on it ! ( and the folk behind me too !) Way to loose business !!

I am a manager in a customer driven environment and know how difficult it can be , but just a little tip for marylyn ... no point counting stock if you are so rude there is no one left to buy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOLVERHAMPTON

Service good in cafe and Station staff were exceptionally helpful

Do we have any of these in Scotland? I'm almost curious now...
ABERDEEN

If you are looking for a masterclass in bad service go here.

TRURO

I was thirsty as I had been working since 8am, couldn't get to a cash machine to pay for OVERPRICED 3.50 COFFEE "CASH ONLY", explained to the nasty person, who refused to even let me have a small glass of water - would have paid the £1.50 I had on me for this - but no, not even allowed this. I think this is illegal - to refuse water. Why do they even exist? Why are they so scarely nasty. Is this 1970s England again?
