I have recently considered myself an anti-monarchist, and I guess I continue to be, but her death shocked and upset me in a way I was not expecting.

I'm not against such debates at all. I remain open minded with Charles incoming.

I've said before I used to be a devout Royalist, but I got an education and changed my mind. Fuck power hierarchies. That being said I can't help but enjoy and follow their exploits. They're a real life soap opera over 1000 years. As a historian, the continuity is fascinating.

Their decline could be just as interesting and as a continued hold.
