When are we allowed to start having discussions (I mean in the media, not moopy) about the future of the monarchy?

Do we think countries like Australia will now want to separate from the UK? I mean, it would be a good time to leave us if it's something they've been thinking about.

I was watching a video today about Charles being a very political king, wanting to be more involved in what happens in politics, and how that could end the monarchy.

I think for the Americas and Asia we are in constant competition with France and Italy and to a lesser degree Spain, Portugal, Germany and Netherlands… removing the royal family would lower our pull IMO. Maybe not for a generation, but it would impact.

I agree that we have way more to offer than the RF, but the British Museum and The National Gallery would never get the U.K. blanket coverage on CNN for a solid 48 hours. I don’t know any other European country that would get so much coverage outside of maybe Putin dying, and that’s not exactly a tourism pull either way…
