Self service checkout. Why would I pack my own bags badly, when someone can do it faster and better?

Have you never been stuck behind a family of four doing their weekly shop while you only had four items? I love self-service checkouts for that reason.

But that gives me time for one of my favorite hobbies (staring at my phone)

When you try and accidentally not scan something at the self service checkout but it still scans.

OLIVIA ATTWOOD'S GLASSES AND CELEBRITY CAREER

I wish her and her Guess Who stylings no harm, but I never want to see her again

THE FACT THAT RADIO 2 STILL HAS 'PAUSE FOR THOUGHT' ON THE BREAKFAST SHOW

That ~90% of GP receptionists just have a rude dismissive vibe about them.

The joy of doing in 30 seconds what used to be a whole fucking trip to the post office

I love these and taking less than 5 mins to walk to one, less than 10 seconds to collect the items  but what I hate is when Vinted aren't listing them as an option (even when I ask the seller) then I'm left with Royal Mail or Evri (home/garden delivery or pickup at a shop further away). 😅

I don't mind them in shops or shopping centres etc, but yes, out on the street I don't appreciate them at all.

Narrow car parking (this is at Tesco) and me being in the front passenger seat being told by some random old man that they can't get in the car because of how it's parked 🙃
I was in the car, contentedly nibbling on some chicken and chips, whilst my dad was in Tesco, and some old guy looking like Jeremy Clarkson haha, knocks on loudly and I assumed it was my dad saying to unlock the boot, but this man's like "I can't get in my car becauseof how you're parked. We're in the bay" (true, but both cars in the bay are a little wide, theirs wider). I said my dad drives, he'll be 5 mins or so (then I call, he comes a couple of mins later and moves forward). It's no huge problem, and I dealt with it fine, but had I been a white old lady like the wife in the car, it might've been different/more polite.

CAESAR SALAD.

It’s just so insanely cheap, tasteless and boring. Sometimes while out for casual dining, I do just fancy a nice salad, but so many restaurants only have this as the choice.

I quite like a good Caesar salad (particularly with a strong hit of anchovies), but I agree with it being the ONLY choice so often. Where's the imagination? The British are shit at salads.

I often find there’s just too much LETTUCE. Then a handful of chicken and the tiniest bit of cheese.

The States trumps the UK massively in this respect.
