Yet more Christmas decoration procrastination here. I was going to get the boxes from the spare room and bring them downstairs but there's an exercise bike in the way so I just closed the door again and came back downstairs.

Spawn is also mithering for me to go and see her new house. She took me on a tour of it on Facetime last night, the kitchen has some weird brightly-coloured lights thing going on, one setting looks like a boy-racer car when they used to put those fluorescent blue lights under them.

I do and only realised what I'd said after I exclaimed "oh no, your kitchen looks like a shitty boy-racer car with those lights!". Luckily I hastily pulled it back with "do they go any other colours, not a big fan of the blue really?". They did. Like disco lights. Resisted the temptation to ask what kind of weirdo puts sodding disco lights in a sodding kitchen but I'd guess they also get their lips filled to trout-pout size too.
