The best way to eat halloumi is with pita bread and a sprinkle of dried mint and red pepper flakes then you toast it in a sandwich press.

Once upon a time you would have been thrown out of the sandwich society for suggesting a falafel wrap, but this is my rate and its a progressive forward thinking rate. Love falafel and another foodstuff that works ensconced in carbs while also providing me the delusion I am eating a high carb item. Solid contribution.
 
If you’re finding falafel dry you’re doing falafel wrong but this is sandwich rate and so we shall stay focused.
 
I have just been reminded of the boxing day sandwich I had last year. Three bird roast, squashed roast potatoes, red cabbage, stuffing and the best bit; because the gravy had been made from scratch over the course of days from beef and chicken bones, it had lots of natural collagen in and set when cold, so I used it as a spread on some sourdough.

I’ve never tried heroin bit I bet this sandwich was better. It was trascendental. Infinity/10
 
I do like a good egg (mayo) & bacon (the bacon must be crispy though) but I can't find any decent photographs online.

On the subject of sandwiches, wholemeal/seeded/malted granary/sourdough - almost any bread except white (although perhaps I'd accept it toasted in a club sandwich).

I like my Xmas sarnies with a bit of left over bread and cranberry sauces included too (don't knock it until you've tried it).
 
My favourite sandwich, I haven’t had for 14 years. Sandwich shop back in my home town

Thick Granary Bread
Loads of salted butter
Thick chicken breast slices
Crispy bacon
Red Onion
Stuffing
Mayo

I may well have had some cranberry in there actually. Its hard to accurately recall when you experience true synesthesia

A good sandwich really is THE FOOD OF THE GODS. I absolutely hate a boring sandwich though. USE SOME IMAGINATION.
 
Ooh I thought of another one, and one I've not had for a while because I don't eat much fish now, but I do replace the fish fingers with vegetable fingers.

Here we have, a fish finger sandwich. Ideally it should be on crusty white bread, and I prefer ketchup to tartare.

7/10, lower rating because it involves cooking.

A top 10 sandwich, maybe even a top 5 if you throw on a birdseye potato waffle and some plastic cheese
 
I'm having a(mother) veggie phase, but when I'm not... I do like these bad boys even though it's all synthetic, pumped full of hormones, pumping methane into the planet, and bad for you and the planet etc. etc.

Fuck it, I was saving the big guns for a special occasion but @Rita got me all moist. If you could bottle the tears of angles they wouldn't taste as sweet a proper decent chip cob. Would be my death row meal. No arguments will be entered into. I will ban you.
