RATE A SANDWICH

And then there is, of course, the all American classic - PB&'J' sandwich. I tend to just have plain (crunchy) peanut butter on wholemeal bread. On certain days it truly can be a 10/10 experience, but on others it's a mere 7/10.
If I do have jam in mine I prefer blackcurrant jam, which can often elevate the experience to 8/10.
I don't think I've ever had the all American version (i.e. with 'grape jelly' on white bread) and I don't think I want to to be frank!

I generally mix diced red onion and red pepper into a mayo/dijon mustard mix, combine with tuna (which hasn't been mashed) and sweetcorn and top with a sharp cheddar. I like serving cornichons on the side (and maybe sliced jalepenos on top if I'm feeling in the mood for spice) .

PB&J is the one time I'll happily accept a white bread sarnie (ideally doorstop bread as opposed to plastic).

Not that I don't enjoy simply buttered plastic white every now and then.

Any tuna in particular you recommend? When I'm in the mood I like the posh albacore glass jar ones from Waitrose but to be honest a lot of the time a bit of John West (in spring water) would do me just fine

I'm typing this after having vowed never to eat fish after finally seeing Seaspiracy :(
