sounds like we'll get some musical variety and a "chapters as seasons" CONCEPT for good measure
She tells me that it starts in autumn and moves through all four seasons—the narrative arc mirroring her own personal growth, the culmination of the self-work she’s done to right her ship in the last year or so. There will be two vinyl records, each side a different season.

The final segment of the show—“Summer”—will be a dance party. She plans to have the word “RAYE” on a screen behind her onstage and transition it to say “RAVE,”

Saw her in Manchester last night... phenomenal. Her and both of her sisters were all incredible. I can get quite anxious at gigs and struggle to enjoy them in the moment but I was totally immersed throughout. Nothing particularly fantastic about any staging (though the lighting effects were great!) she just filled the stage with her personality and voice. Totally fab.

Seeing her in May for the first time in about 4 years (i.e. before she properly blew up with Escapism). She has always been a great live act.

Does she play much from the upcoming new album on this tour and does it sound good?
 
I think she does 3 or 4 new songs from the album

kinda regretting not gong to this tour. her live albums are great.

Yeah I saw her in 2018 in a much smaller venue, she was humble then and humble now, just a lovely woman.

As said, a few new ones but a real mix of everything going right back

Nightingale Lane is out and it's incredible. 5 minutes long but it passes in a flash. she's going to have the biggest British album of the year

I must say, she is so much better live than on the record. That’s true for a lot of people, but this recording is good but not great. There’s something off about the mix that turns her vocals down. It’s something about a lot of modern music production that turns me off.
 


I should be all over this retro heartbreak ballad. There are bits that are so very right but the talk-singing parts and the operatic moment take me out.
 
Fuck me, I think Nightingale Lane is exquisite. What a song and production. I feel like if they put her vocal any higher in the mix it would be too much, so I think they’ve actually got it right.
 
I can't tell if Click Clack is a hit (being rhythmic spoken word throughout rather than sung) but it's very good.
 
This is great. The video elevates it to a 10 for me. I love it when a pop song comes along that sounds nothing else like anything else around.

this album is brilliant, stunning, gorgeous, showstopping, breathtaking, never done before, play it in the sun, kiss it, ghost it, scream it over a sax solo, have Al Green holler over it, have Hans Zimmer arrange it, have Grandad Michael contribute spoken word even though as far as I can tell he's dead, read the credits for six minutes at the end :disco:

all love to Robyn and Loreen (and Charlie Puth I guess...) but this blows their records away.
 
I think I am in the same (life) boat. With all the albums released yesterday this went to the bottom of the queue and I didn't get round to it until this morning.

I'll take some songs but as a whole... I struggled. The panic when I Hate The Way I Look Today came on and I momentarily couldn't find my phone to skip it.
 
She already was someone who I admired more than enjoyed, and it sounds (don't think I have the stamina today) this may have driven that home even further.

Where The Hell is obviously great (if bordering on overplayed, but that's hardly her fault) but none of the other releases so far have done a thing for me.
