I think I tapped out for seasons 4-6, Bethenny went off to do her own show ‘Bethenny After After’ and returns in a few years when that doesn’t QUITE work out.
 
Yes, S4 is one of my NYC faves. Largely thanks to the Morocco trip and the division of the cast into the blondes verses the brunettes. That super-toxic reunion is rumoured to be the reason why they decided to fire over half the cast before S5 :disco:

Also I am THOROUGHLY enjoying watching Luann invite herself into everybody's business and then having the audacity to tell them how to run said business :D What a self-righteous bitch.

Omg I went to Puerta Vallarta a few years ago and I swear the town where they do the shopping trip is the same one where I lost my friends and ended up smoking Crystal meth (BY ACCIDENT) in a LESBIAN B&B.
 
Despite having watched seasons 1 to 4 of NY at least three times, I've only watched season 5 onwards just the once, as it aired.

So inspired by this topic, last night I started season 5 episode 1 again. It's gonna be a ride.

I recall several awkward Holla/Carole/Aviva GROUP LUNCHES/DINNERS in the early episodes to try and make it seem that they knew and/or cared about each other :D
 
Already in episode 1 of season 5, Luann arrives to lunch with those three, rants about Ramona for 5 minutes, before LEAVING to go meet Jacques. Leaving the three of them sat there awkwardly discussing the dynamics of the relationship between Luann and Ramona - two women they met a week before :D
 
Season 4 is so petty :D it's just Ramona being drunk and running her mouth.
 
Season 4 is really quite fun if you watch as individual episodes, and OBVIOUSLY Morocco is one of the best trips or ALL TIME!

But trying to watch it as some sort of marathon is like being bludgeoned round the head by a bunch of LUDICROUS harpies :D

Alex, Cindy and Kelly are such dead weight on Season 4. Which just emphasizes the entertainment value of Ramona, Jill, Luann and Sonja tbh. Those 4 have the best chemistry. Everything else is just collateral :D
 
You know which plot I want for Ramona next season? A singing career. First single to be called “Say you’re sorry (Apologising anthem)” — can you imagine the scenes? Luann getting territorial about being the PERFORMER OF THE GROUP, Ramona’s unbridled desire for success, Sonja dancing and falling off a table at the release party.

I NEED IT.

It was kind of nuts that they even brought Kelly back for season 4. Not least because just WHY - but also because at the season 3 reunion she was pretty vocal about putting so much of the blame for her state on Scary Island onto Bravo/production.
 
I actually went to see a PULMONOLOGIST! And he said I had moderate to SEVERE asthma. He said, today, the way your TESTS are reading? I CANNOT release you to go Montana.

Quite interesting to see Sonja's financial issues play out, and I'm glad she decided to address it on the show. It's heartbreaking to see her cry over it, because she's incredibly charismatic. I love how bubbly and self-aware she is. But she DOES seem quite naive and basic compare to the other women. Jill and Ramona are absolute SHARKS. Sonja is also just GORGEOUS.

I also DON'T agree with the diagnosis that she's "white trash" like Ramona. Sonja has humble beginnings, but her social etiquette and personal style are definitely more refined. When she's sober anyway lol
 
Is there any fight more boring than Kirstin vs Holla in S6? I challenge you. OK maybe anything involving Jules but still.
 
I've started on season 3 (I'm on the first one with Sonja now) and Ramona calling being married in New York for 16 years historic is really sending me for some reason
