Yes the houses are giving old money but the accents are giving New Jersey. What a confusing place.
 
Quite enjoyed episode 1 ! Not familiar enough with them yet but Jo Ellen is vile
 
I'm really struggling to get into this, despite it seemingly being an instant SMASH HIT in the USA.

The trio of Alicia, Liz and Jo-Ellen all radiate classic OG Housewives energy, and Rulla signing up to be absolutely HUMILIATED on a national level whilst wearing a bizarre hairpiece is low key old school Housewives. But the rest is just so flabby I find it distracting from the core bits that are good about the show. I really think it could do with some streamlining.

That said I've only made it through 3 episodes so I may be speaking in a premature manner.
 
I'm thoroughly enjoying it, because you're never too far away from:

Also the drama amps up every episode so definitely stick with it
 
I honestly didn't think Rosie had THAT in her. She sent Kelsey packing!

And then Kelsey walking BACK into the house to tell her she actually DID win the pageant FAIR AND SQUARE :D

An iconic scene.
 
Rula denying us Gary at the Arabian Nights party, potentially wearing just a vest, is an act of homophobia. :angry:
