This is Kylie channeling Gwen Stefani, a couple years late...

But I don't hate it. Just a bit juvenile and second rate Gwen.

I enjoy Heart Beat Rock, but more for the squelchy production than anything else. I remember someone pointed out that it's basically a Robbie Williams song with Kylie singing it, and I've never been able to forget that whenever I hear it.

I love Sensitized, this would fit right at home on Body Language and all the better for it. So much going on in the song too, it's a musical joy and another bop and a half. FOUR ace songs in a row now - when does this album go a bit off track? Did it ever?!

I think there's a good idea in Heart Beat Rock. But the execution isn't up to much.

Can we just go back to the beginning?

What accent is she singing in? :D she sounds like a fucking American impersonating COCKNEY here.

Seven because I like the BEAT and I feel Kylie Ann deserves the benefit of the doubt at this point. the SONG itself is rubbish

There’s a remix of Heart Beat Rock that elevates it even more for me. Which one is it again?

Again though, the tour really elevates Heart Beat Rock - the cheerleader chanting transitioning into the intro of Wow was a really fun moment.

The way they fucked up The One is such a monumental tragedy. The song transcends everything. It should have been massive. It makes me wanna sob whilst dancing surrounded by bears.

Thank f**k for The One after the PISS that was Heart Beat Rock. It's almost like an apology to the listener.

It's time to ask the age old question - SHOULD THE ONE HAVE BEEN THE LEAD SINGLE?

Oh yeah, Heart Beat Rock. It's fine actually, the beats are chunky enough and in some ways I needed a bit of a comedown (without SLOWING down) after the quality quartet that precedes it

The One is SUCH a "what did we do to deserve this?" moment.

The HINT of guitar under the electronic BLEEP BLEEP BLOOPS, the constant sense of propulsion and movement - you're swimming in its orbit, it's impossible NOT to move to this song. And then you have her vocal, at turns cold and distant and WARM and DESPERATE. I mean it all adds up to something really quite HEARTBREAKING.

It really feels like the apex of everything she's achieved within the genre of glittery melancholy dancefloor bangers.
