I Was Gonna Cancel is such a weird one. Like, it's quite enjoyable. It just doesn't belong on a regular Kylie pop album - it should be on a specific disco project (:eyes:) or a side EP or something. and as SECOND SINGLE?

GORL.

lovely synths, claps and bells though.

See I really like A Million Miles because its serviceable and very catchy in a way that across the last two albums before KMO, the fillers JUST WEREN'T
 
God I hate everything about the IWGC video. Hate the shots, hate the extras, hate her hair, what she's wearing. Really felt we lost something when she was on this 'cool' record label.

The song's not even that good but it's a lot more palatable in the context of the album than it is as a standalone single (is that makes sense!)

The video is OK. Very much in the vein of other videos by the same director(s).

the video is a (not even remotely) ICONIC DISASTER. They really should have canned it and took the L.
 
If it had been filmed outside as was the original idea, it would have been better.
 
Sexy Love is such a Madonna pastiche. This album is off to a consistent if not spectacular start.
 
Sexy Love is not actively bad (the mixing is bad though) and through a 2020 lens I actually enjoy the disco vibe. It's just too juvenile for her. Also it's very clear four tracks in that KMO has no idea what it wants to be.

Very nice verse melodies here though. I've actually never enjoyed this song so much, I'm quite surprised.

It's all the sex references here get a bit JARRING. They're just not very Kylie.

Sexy Love is obvs a retread, but I don't begrudge her like I begrudge Wow. She's got plenty of merit. Love the forward momentum of the melody and the chorus is SO SCHWEEET
