Didn’t really know where to put this but I suppose ultimately it is funky pop, lots of genre crossing influences heard though and AMAZING vocals

Her voice is great and I love the use of horns. Not loving Alone In Miami but really enjoyed the other two. Her last album was really good as well.

Album is great on first listen:



Soup (that dreamy eighties sound is like catnip) and Kangaroo stood out. It seems to dip a little before the end and a slightly left field bonus track.

She covers a lot of bases, and there is a really addictive energy running through it.
