Oh is it a Natalia Kills? I suddenly feel disgusting'Kiss it Better' is GREAT. Thank you, acclaimed songwriter and dreamsnatcher Natalia Kills.
as her album opener no less.I've forgotten the details so I'll look it up but it was something like: SZA was in the same building and got asked if she wanted to play some songs for Rihanna. so she was like YES of course but someone said to her "don't play the ones you want to keep"which she did anyway and sure enough Rihanna snatched up Consideration for herself. thrifty queen.

I think they released "KIss it Better" and another song at the same time ("Needed You" maybe???), which I think hurt its chances. It's also a pop/rock hybrid which I don't think traditionally does well at radio, at least not in 2016.08 Consideration

10 Kiss It Better - Why wasn't this a hit? Was it even a single?
Love the lyrics, melody, production, vibe. One of those songs where the verses are the strongest part

I never got the logic of releasing two songs at once even if they aren't competing on the same formats. It didn't work with "Rockstar 101" and "California King Bed'" and it didn't work here either. "Needed Me" eventually did well regardless though.I remember reading in some forum that Needed Me was the bigger hit because it had more chances, it also got added to more radio stations including adult AC, Rhythmic, Urban, Pop, etc; whereas Kiss It Better only was added to Pop stations.
same reason she's been hawking lipstick for five years. our Bajan queen loves to troll her public! Why was Bitch Better Have My Money not on this album? It would have easily slotted in?

Didn't Rihanna do this with EVERY single campaign of hers? She knew she had to cater to every format besides every country, so she was releasing singles/videos per month!
now we've come to the strangely BLEAK midsection of the album. Woo is very OMINOUS. I feel like I'm about to be KNIFED in the street. well joke's on them cos I ain't GOT NO MONEY! HA!
Singles like "You Da One" she quickly ditched because they didn't immediately connect, but generally I think she stuck to one single at a time collabs notwithstanding...Didn't Rihanna do this with EVERY single campaign of hers? still baffled that it was so huge. it does get going a bit as it goes on and I love that hit list line. I think you have to be properly blazed to appreciate it properly though.oh dear07 Consideration
