Rita Ora - How To Be Lonely

Yeah, doesn't the news story say that her representatives paid the restaurant with the specific request that the CCTV be turned off/erased?

Honestly somewhat baffled that anybody would think her career is FINE after this :D

It’s such an emotive topic for so many people.
Thing is, although she took it to an extreme level, almost everyone has broken the rules somehow. Also she's not meant to be leading the example and I doubt people have time to worry about RITA ORA.

but we all know that almost ALL celebs are flaunting the rules. many of them very publicly. surely people are numb to it. and people have been cancelled for much worse, quite honestly, and not suffered particularly for it.

Yes of course this is true, but that this has gotten to the point of national news it's been highlighted much more heavily than any other case of celebrity rule-breaking I can think of.

Essentially: I don't expect Radio 1 to instantly playlist a new Rita Ora single any time soon :D

I feel like if this had happened pre-Cummings it might’ve had a bigger impact but now it seems it’s just accepted that celebs are flouting the rules or doing one to Dubai. Don’t think it’ll stick.

a whole EP! That will be a bit of a litmus test for her chart viability. although Imanbek is hardly a guaranteed hitmaker.

It's too bad that Rita Ora is personally causing the second wave, because she has released some great pop music

1. Anywhere
2. Let You Love Me
3. I Will never Let You Down
4. Lonely Together
5. Your Song
6. Only Want You
7. RIP
8. How We Do (Party)
9. Radioactive
10. Poison

How To Be Lonely is not on the list

1. Anywhere
2. I Will Never Let You Down
...

Two admittedly 11/10 moments, though.

Just listened to "Lonely Together" and "Let You Love Me", which were fine, but seemed like lesser versions of the bops we love.

I can’t believe I forgot Ritual and black widow and Doing It

what a queen :disco: but also not because of the covid stuff

1. LET YOU LOVE ME
2. Anywhere

I think this is where things are at for me these days, too. I'm astonished you're all forgetting "For You" which is glorious as well, of course. Even Liam Payne couldn't ruin it.

She's had a really strong run of singles but I'm not sure that as a pop star, she was ever more than that until 2019. Now she's got more of a public persona but not necessarily the good kind. We'll see how this one shakes out.

Popbitch noted this week that she is apparently getting paid ÂŁ3m (!, three million Australian Dollars MAYBE) for a judging job on The Voice Australia, while also commenting on the hypocrisy of The Sun going after her so hard when they had their own rule-breaking Xmas party.

God I love OUR REET when she's doing the dance stuff. For someone reasonably useless she does have a rather fabulous collection of singles (with some shite in amongst)

1. Anywhere
2. Ritual
3. For You
4. Lonely Together
5. Coming Home
6. Radioactive
7. RIP
8. Let Me Love You
9. Carry On
10. Doing It

She really has no shame with this whole Covid debacle does she?!
I mean she's there for work which is actually legal and permitted by the British and Australian governments TO BE FAIR

I actually had to turn down her request to enter The Masked Mooper dressed in this costume:

Oh yeah I know it's legally fine, but after all the other incidences maybe just STAY AT HOME

Also what a random group of people to be working together

To be fair David Guetta's recent ish track with RAYE was incredible so hold your HORSES
