Not really, I din't know about a cash prize but I assumed it. I mean...Oh I've misunderstood this haven't I

ME TOO CHUCKI'm seeing Sum Ting Wong at Two Brewers tonight
I do hope she's in a stamp
It’s a sickenning supply of dentists and new sets of teeth.

I thought Blu was robbed of a top 3 place - that coin look was excellent
Great start tho

Do you think she may struggle with performance challenges?Sum Ting was...ok live![]()

It's the BBC, I can well imagine a very millennial set of lip syncs so they can hit that all important 18-24 demographic.
I'm surprised that, as big as the show has gotten, Ru still gets away with occasionally pulling out obscure-ish 80s hits like Strut and New Attitude on the US show.
But she never had a pop career, a #1 duet and another top 40 hit is not a pop career.Erm.....New Attitude is from Beverly Hills Cop and launched Patti's pop career.

I'm just saying most under 30s watching the show probably don't know those songs.
I think quibbling over it is a little pointless. Patti Labelle is an icon, even if it wasn't a huge hit. I'd say that makes it a more appropriate choice than a lot of bigger hits by lesser stars.
That is true, but then I think the gay community has always been a bit more open to songs and artists from yesteryear - we're the community that still revels singers way after they've been dumped by anyone else.

Maybe you're right, but I see her like the typical r&b singer with the ocassional crossover pop hit, and she didn't have that many. She had a number 1 album containing said number 1 hit. I'd say that counts as a pop career. Even if it was brief.
It peaked at #17 in US, and yes, I know there are lots of classics out there that didn't do well in there charts at the time and it means nothing, but still. I would say it's fairly well know song in the US for people of a certain age, but that's it.
In fact, even though you hate me xx for that drunken moment 7 years ago, (which I have apologised about)
Well, I like male singers toowe probably have the most similar music tastes on the whole of Moopy!
but you're probably right, and I think you're not aware to which extent.Be honest, how many times a week do you have to use that line in conversation?
I don't hate you, I think I've been nice to you for a while so I don't know why you bring that back, I've been over it for years.
