Yeah, the argument happens during the defrocking at the start of the episode - you can see Cheryl standing next to The Vivienne wearing her purple dress from this week.
 
Also 'De-spunk my balls' is an ICONIC phrase. I'm imagining TENS of GAYS Whatsapping this to their FBs.
 
This is getting better and better. I agree, it's the best in aaaages, and as much as I don't want it to end, having less queens has kept the momentum going, whereas usually it kind of slows down once top six or so hits. Season 5 and 4 are the exceptions really, and obviously AS2.

All of Divina, Blu and Baga were great, and I didn't mind the triple win because it was hard to rank one ahead of the other. They were cohesive and all had great runway looks too.

The Vivienne thing needed to happen, and her lip sync was good, so fair enough. Crystal was solid but aside from the costume design challenge she was never really exceptional.

Next week makes me worried for Blu because I don't think she's as great a speaker as the others. Though it would be a shame if she went before makeovers, so who knows...
 
I think Divina really deserved the win on her own, her whistle notes were great, her performance was at least on par with Baga and Blu, and she absolutely had the best outfit by a mile.

I gasped when she walked out. I thought it was lush. Surprised the judges were critical of her outfit but were loving Baga’s?
 
The one thing about this show is that while this UK series has become MUST SEE, it's really not invigorated my interest in either of the US series. In fact I think it's made me care LESS about them. Now we have our own show and our own queens to support. I'll obviously still watch the US series but I think the magic has dissipated a bit.
 
I thought Baga was head, no neck and shoulders above the rest in the task. Blue was very lucky to be included as she didnt have what the other two had.

I liked the look Ru gave after Geordie Mix's Arianna Grand National comment. The look of jealousy and wondering whether she had an earpiece in too. It definitely seemed like she had prep'd for the gays.
 
Season 9 was the first I watched on a weekly basis, as it was being broadcast. So that's 3 regular seasons and 2 All Star ones, plus UK. And this very definitely is the one I've enjoyed most.

I fond it hard to compare the earlier seasons, because I binged those hard. I didn't have the same sense of anticipation or looking forward to it.
 


Even if this WAS her planned outfit, Divina would have made this look dreadful.

This.

I thought this was a really excellent episode and showed that we've got rid of the right 4 queens (and now 5) in roughly the right order. The remaining queens are so much stronger than what we've lost. I was oddly proud to be British in this episode because I can't remember a week when the entire group did so consistently well... :D Even the 'weak ones' like The Vivienne and Crystal this week, were pretty good in lots of ways (yes Viv fucked the lip syncing on the girl group and yes the second group were better, but the general polish of the performances was high standard for the time they are given to work on it).

The reading was reasonably decent too (especially compared to last year's US version).

Personally think Divina should have won - and I'm hating these cop out 'shared wins'. She's also sealed my support entirely with her interviews - she's just so genuine. I really want her to win and knock the smile off Viv and Baga's faces (though I thought Baga was MUCH more bearable this week without Vivienne by her side).
 
This was the best episode so far, good reads and a good challenge (although they couldn’t afford two different songs?).

I though they would give it to Davina because she had the best edit but they favor Bagga and The Viv too much. Cheryl was still meh, modeling yourself after Alyssa with no charm is not a clever move.

I found the Viv’s outfit in the workroom offensive, that romper with socks and sandals :zombie:
 
The right queen went, but what was she thinking looking like that in the group performance?? Her make up looked terrible.

I really really can’t stand Blu anymore, I hate those moves she does with her hands on her tits...

Davina should have won on her own. The two others were good, but not on her level, especially when you consider the runway look too.

The Vivienne is still my favourite, and I loved to see her crack. She obviously couldn’t handle the others getting better critique than her. Her outfit was great.

I don’t really get how Cheryl was great. She wasn’t. Alyssa, but only if you take out the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent out of her.

Plus she was the one that ensured they actually looked like a group! Don't resent the other 2. Though as they were so good.
 
Oh and frock destroyers up to 14 on itunes ! (Probably about 5 sales these days but still!)
 
God I hope Divina wins, she was fantastic and (as others have said) just seems LOVELY while also being very very good at drag. Blu is starting to outstay her welcome for me, though she was fine this week.

Definitely behind a Divina win here too. I'm new to this though, how many end up in the final - is it 2 or 3?
 
It has been 4 in the last few US seasons. But they have been starting with a higher number.
 
Do we know if we're getting a 'live' finale for this?

I certainly hope she wears this tonight at CC Blooms, or else that red Britney PVC number that went over her back like clingfilm on a tupperware dish. And speaking of, if she doesn't dish on Geru she'll officially be my worst queen of all time in the useless stakes.

Glad I'm not the only one who wants a Divina win. I think she won't, but we can have her back in All Stars (if it happens).

Cheryl to go next please, I can't stand her.
