I think we'll get a few episodes where Tia will be able to showcase her vocals a bit more. I don't think she's entirely talentless.

I also think she's funnier than she realizes.
 
That was a shocking elimination but I’m so HAPPY. I really thought we were going to lose Tia now that she was against Asstina, but she really won that lip sync. Astina just looked bored and robotic.


And I’m sorry but Tia looked a lot better than that disgusting Veronica. The latter’s outfit was horrible. And Tia’s face is really gorgeous. She really is Olive Oyl in drag. :disco:

I was hoping we’d either get rid of Ginny or that giant Scottish baby. But I guess it would have seemed too harsh to send Ginny home after her talking about how she regarded herself as ugly.

YES, quite annoyed this wasn't picked up on and the winners completely swerved any critiques. Tayce wasn't perfect but to have her on stage being picked apart when Veronica and Sister Sister got a pass wearing THAT..

He's been great value and the hate is unjustified. Not his fault he's being favoured. His looks are usually pretty good and he's probably the funniest after Tia.

The wins so far, in execution and on paper in terms of names, have been HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE given Asstina is gone, Veronica is mostly the shabby old queen we suspected and Lawrence was only about 3rd best.

Watch Sister Sister win next week and still get forgotten.
 
I love that it's not JUST US, and Tia seems to be getting universal love INTERNET WIDE - to the point where she's possibly starting to overshadow a lot of the other contestants (aside from Tayce perhaps) in regards to internet conversation VOLUME as a result :D
 
Tia totally has the “fan favourite, earn some cash, back for All Stars with better outfits” arc going on.

It’s mostly because I can’t stand her face out of drag, she reminds me of a friend of a friend that I kind of dislike. Her being just as annoying has amplified my dislike towards them both.
 
Veronica does look like a character from The Beano. In and out of drag.
 
Veronica strikes me as someone who’s music career didn’t happen as a man and so he decided to put on a wig and a cheap dress and that got him a lot more traction. I don’t find him offensive but there’s not a lot there.

I like Veronica. She's one of my favourites. I'm glad she, like Vinegar Strokes before her, is there to represent the GREAT BRITISH TRADITION of ropey show bar queens :disco:

I can't believe Lawrence Chaney beat Bimini - I was even shocked that he'd beat Ellie Diamond, let alone been chosen as the winner of the whole challenge.

I feel bad for Asttina who was certainly not as good as Tia Koffi in the lip-sync, but whose outfit was... not terrible in the first place? It wasn't great, but it felt like she executed what she set out to, and it didn't look home-made, unlike most of the other girls. Still, I reckon the bottom two would have been Ginny and Tia otherwise, and I guess either of them would have been greater losses for the show.
 
I think it's right that they're judged on a curve. If you say you can do it ALL, don't turn up looking that basic.
 
I really don't get the Lawrence hate? She's hardly offensive in any way and quite frankly gives good... talking head. And how can anyone think Ellie's look was better? Girl please, a lot more work went into Lawrence's look, it was well constructed and over all was a better, more complete look. I do think Bimini should have won though.

I felt Bimini deserved it over Lawrence as well, but we've had far worse decisions. It just felt slightly unexpected to me in as much as it felt like his talking heads were cut back this week compared to the first two episodes, so it was almost a bit out of the blue.
 
And as others have said before, the only reason I see to be irritated (if that's the right word) by Lawrence is the fact that he's favoured in the edit somewhat - but then he clearly massively appeals to Ru.

At this stage he's the most obvious finalist for me. I really couldn't call the other two. It feels wide open, and I like that.
 
If Ellie manages to pull something out of the bag, I think she could be right up there. As it is though, I suspect she'll finish 4th or 5th with a 'not quite there yet'.

I'd love to see Bimini up there as she really intrigues me, but she needs a few more solid weeks before I'll be convinced.

I’m just going to assume the Ginny love is purely a British thing that I don’t understand. Beyond the mildly funny self-deprecating humour, everything about their drag is just dreadful.

It is VERY British, that sort of 80s drag you don't really see anymore. I never found it particularly funny either.

Of course it is. I meant that as a drag thing I don’t get it.

Su Pollard style comedy had its place in the 80s, sure, but the joy of Su was how mindbendingly shite it all was. :D
 
That line was clearly formulated to be a meme, but I mean THANK FUCK. Tayce delivers it so well with all the outrage and head turns lol
