I think Danny is the perfect winner. Loved him from day one. Cheddar, I never need to see on tv again.
 
I’m not denying the traumatic childhood some queer children had, but the advice to your younger self thing seems like such a relic to even me, the gen Z kids must find it UTTERLY BIZARRE, and it seems to reinforce this stereotype that gay kids are outsiders and unloved, and as we found in Taste’s season Ru just doesn’t know how to react to a generation that grew up in supportive, un-judgemental families, and really struggles with a gay experience that isn’t defined by TRAUMA. And I get that he’s 100 years old but he really needs to move on from this narrative.
 
I sometime wonder what the “advice to your younger self” part is for. Because they always end up just summarising their childhood specifically anyway, and they hardly ever come up with any transferable advice
 
what do you do with your sweaters by the way? I use hangers but they tend to leave stretched out NIBS on the shoulders. But not in a fierce way like 80s shoulder pads
 
You shouldn’t hang knitwear as over time it will stretch and lose it’s shape.

A splash of water and a little stroke should solve the dreaded shoulder nipples though.
 
I keep mine in a zipped up suitcase with mothballs and also spray peppermint oil on the case to repel moths.

I couldn't put my knitwear away. I need to be able to stroke it lovingly through the horrid long summer months.
 
Just listening to the megamix on Spotify and I didn't twig that a word in Call Me Mother has been changed from 'fishy' to 'flashy'.

Little Lucy, times are going to be tough, you’re going to experience a lot of loss in your life, the cashmere cable knit, the merino sweater, the Lacoste v-neck you didn’t dry flat, but you’ll get through it, there’ll be more knitwear in your future, and these tough times will make you into the woman you are today.
 
I will say though that going on Drag Race without a little trauma prepared is foolish. It's like a sewing challenge. You know they're going to ask for it, so try to shake loose some repressed memories, and if nothing comes out, just buy something from a local queer artiste and pass it off as your own.

Just had a look at her insta, all those stunning looks we never got to see. I feel hypnotised by her beauty and aloofness.
