Pixie Polite has got to be one of the most unpleasant viewing experiences to get as far as she did in Drag Race herstory (at least Phi Phi O'Hara was good for EVENT CONFLICT back in the day!), so surely not her.
 
I liked Pixie until it was obvious that she was too envious and could’t be happy for her friend Danny.
 
Last week I said Pixie had someone of the Grotbags about her (except less camp) - but in her finale look Grotbags is ALL I could see :D
 
I'm happy Danny won. Cheddar would have been fine too. Weird how it felt devoid of anticipation or tension given the winner was really uncertain compared to most Drag Race seasons. Maybe its because finals are boring affairs on the whole.

On that note, I'm quite bored of the lip sync for the crown/smackdowns we always get now. They're almost always entirely inconsequential. I don't think they should be removed, lip syncs ARE kind of essential to the show, but I'd like the novelty of the final having one last challenge. I guess the problem with that though is someone bombing, not a great finale look or swansong. But there must be a way for queens to have something catered to their strengths so everyone still looks good.

As a season it really drooped and the mistake of losing queens with far greater value, Sminty/Baby/Dakota/Le Fil in favour of Jonbers and Pixie and an ailing Peppa was a mistake. Amazingly it was still better than season three, but four seasons deep I can't say I expected season one to be the second best.

Of course moaning aside I still enjoy this shit despite the fuck ups
