Enya would have been fucking shit but now we have “St Patty” who is going to be fucking shit but because Ru suggested it, there will be lots of fake laughter.
 
I think the problem with Shirley Bassey is he's presumably not allowed to sing any of her songs, which leaves us with WHAT, exactly?
 
I keep hoping Cheddar Gorgeous is going to do a theatrical sneeze and have the wig fall off.
 
When was the last time we had a really decent Snatch Game outside the All Stars All Winners?

That was shit. The only LOL I had was Pete Burns. Cheddar was good enough too. The rest were all rubbish.

I suspect that's it for Le Fil - she and Black Peppa were the worst of a ropey lot.

Peppa will surely win a lip sync but she’s been coasting now for weeks…this was truly awful.
 
This is annoying me more than most educational interludes. I mean, is Cheddar Gorgeous really going to have been that aware of all of that aged FOUR? She would have been 16 around the year 2000.

As soon as I heard the Enya and Louis Walsh ideas I knew they wouldn’t make it to the challenge. :(

Pixie really is getting on my tits as well. All the hate against Jonbers has overlooked the entitlement and misery coming from Pixie…
 
The absolute ridiculous desperation with a knowing wink of Le Fil’s reveals was genuinely iconic.

But Peppa still wiped the floor with her…
 
For the first minute I really thought Le Fil had that, but she got a bit manic at the end. :(

Peppa doing generic splits and cartwheels while barely bothering to lip sync the song was NOT SPICETASTIC.
 
Does anyone remember that episode of League of Gentlemen where Pauline has to get a job in the burger bar and hides behind a wall so that bastard Ross doesn't know it's her, and she puts on a really ridiculously stupid fake voice that's about four different accents at the same time ("do you wan MUSTARD on ya VEGGIEBURGER?!")? Anyway, that's what Danny Beard's Cilla sounded like.
 
As much as I think Dakota is lovely and she didn't do a bad job of Pete Burns at all, her turn just made me wish someone with a more forceful personality had done him.

I think I found Pixie the worst, just because DSB could have been a great one. She was more Bubbles Devere than DSB.

They did Dakota DIRRRRRTY. Her Pete Burns was so funny, and LOVED her runway. She was galaxies better than Jonbers.
 
I was so annoyed at Ru for making them change their choices, especially considering his suggestions were imaginary. Maybe Louis Walsh and Enya wouldn't have worked, but he blatantly shot down Louis because he didn't know who he was, which gives even more credence to the argument that someone with an awareness of UK/Irish pop culture should be hosting.

Snatch Game was bad bad bad. Cheddar was quite good but even at that, it was hardly brilliant, and I still think doing historical and made up characters is a bit of a cop out.

I'm so confused about why Black Peppa seems to generally be seen as one of the frontrunners, or why they simply couldn't lose her in that lip sync. She aced the first week, but she has had absolutely no success at anything since then!

I suppose it's a bit like Krystal last year but I think most of the viewers could at least see she was being carried through the competition then.

She didn't really 'ace' the first week either. Production gave her the initial week push but she had zero CUNT to steam it through. People here were losing their shit to a weaker version of Rajah O'Hara. She's surely going to be shoved into the Top4 and maybe given the win however...

Unfortunately I can see Jonbers making it to the final with her edit, but I don't think she'll win. I can't see past Cheddar or Danny for the win.
