Well I sat through the Meet the Queens and... well let’s just hope that them doing things is better than them talking about how good they are.

I thought it was a shame it’s just an iplayer show, but that looks about right :/
 
I’m sure it’ll be alright, but I felt a bit samey... I guess I just got used to the increasingly glossy US version (and accents). Those are some mugs though, most of them looked like they’d been shot in the face with a makeup gun
 
I don't think the lighting was ideal.

But anyway, I don't think we were expecting glamour to be the strong point of DRUK.
 
the production value of that meet the queens doesn't do them any favours. personality wise they seem more interesting than the us queens but then we're had several hundred of those at this point so it might be burnout.

Oh right, I didn't watch the videos because I don't want to know much about them before it starts, I just saw the name and it couldn't be a mere coincidence.

I don't think he's out, no. Last I heard he was dating Aisling Bea. I took him for a straight ally really.
 
I hope it's just first episode excitement and we don't get British themed gags throughout. WE KNOW WE'RE BRITISH. Although I guess if they want to work in the US, they need something relatable.

Actually that's bullshit, Bake Off and Love Island both have audiences in the US, without having to pander to the US market.

He's pretty much said he's gay, but not actively gay or something. Hopefully only a matter of time.
 
Oh dear, I hope this comes with subtitles. I had a quick look and some are hard to understand.
