“As far as I know, I am not a gay man,” Garfield said at a press conference, the comments noted by Gay Times.

“Maybe I’ll have an awakening later in my life, which I’m sure will be wonderful and I’ll get to explore that part of the garden, but right now I’m secluded to my area, which is wonderful as well. I adore it, but a big concern was what right do I have to play this wonderful gay role?

Preparing for the role, Garfield spoke to numerous “friends in the gay community” and watched “every single series” of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

“This is my life outside of this play,” he said. “I am a gay man right now just without the physical act – that’s all.”

It doesn't come as a huge surprise that they're really over egging the 'what Americans think of Brits' references. The show is always full of gay puns after all, so why not British ones. I'm sure it'll last the whole 8 episodes and I can get in board with it, but if it gets a second series they'll need a different angle!
 
As much as I'd love Andrew Garfield to sit on my face and wriggle around a bit, realistically it's not going to happen. So I'll cope with him being an enigma, sexually.
 
Since when is he even considered hot? I don’t see it.
 
Oh I just realised I'm confusing him with Henry Cavill :D

Probably still let him have a go, though.

All the Queens were interviewed on stage at Manchester Pride. Baga and The Vivienne has the best response by far but they all seemed to have something about them. I’m excited.
 
NO SPOILERS HERE but anyone got any predictions of the final few?

I'm guessing The Vivienne, Divina and Baga for final 3...
 
Predicting Baga to crash out pretty early myself
 
I'm not feeling Divina at all based on what I've seen, which admittedly is very little. I had her pegged for about 3rd or 4th out.
