RuPaul's Drag Race



Just watched the first episode of this. It's amazing. I recommend it if you have even a passing hint of interest in dungeons and dragons. (It's a bit of a pain to watch but I was able to acquire it from specialist sources)

And here is a small section of it going off the rails, as happens frequently.

 


Not sure if this is just to hook people in or if the whole series will end up on YouTube, but there is the first episode.

Episode 2 was even better, they've completely loosened up and got into it and it is just a JOY. I have been laughing out loud multiple times
 
I've just been having a lovely chat with Mayday, who was a guest judge on season 1 of Drag Race Holland.

I'll never not love her. She's a breath of fresh air every time I see her.

What she says about having a "child-like brain" really resonates with me especially. I still don't know what to make of it.
 
They really don’t make them like Shannel any more :D

I still think daily about how she twisted her hat clearly accidentally falling off into:
a) a deliberate part of the routine and then
b) something very "personal", "touching", and "raw" :D
 
A Shannel and Alexis Michelle podcast would be quite something. Shannel's season 1 entrance sequence and dialogue is still the very best of the best.
