Mimi really is the most annoying queen in Drag Race history. I would rather be paired up with Laganja or Nicole Paige Brook from Atlana GEORGIA.

I wasn't happy with All Stars coz it was the second time Raven got robbed.
 
I hated the street challenge with all the blatant extras cracking eggs off their heads. I also wasn't happy that the ever humble "Barbra Streisand of drag" Shannel never got to do a solo lip-sync, but both she and Chad locked in their own private fantasy together (that no one else was in on or even wanted to be) was certainly a highlight. Shannel as Mr G from Summer Heights High during rehearsals was perfect foil for Raven, who I always think did a better Raja than Raja. There's something about her having so much flawlessly applied make-up on and yet still having visible eye bags, all the while with that Bea Arthur voice and that curled up joker-smirk. While on the subject of All Stars being a bit flat at times though, that Mama's house (or whatever it was) woman was dreadful. Nina was also very wilted compared to how I remember her from season 1. Alexis really soured the goodwill of her season, it was a bit bam! no thank you mam if you ask me (and I never saw the appeal of Yara much at all despite having her moments).

Michelle has been mentioning a UK version on Twitter, whether that's just her eying to build up enthusiasm or not I don't know, but she did say she would 100% be on the panel if there was one, especially with her being such an Anglophile.
 
I'm loving season 5 so far, just watched the RuPaul Roast episode. Jinkx and (always and forever) Alyssa Edwards are clearly the best, but I'm enjoying Alaska more since she stopped the Rolaskatox nonsense.

Has Santino always been bald? I thought I recalled long hair from under his hat in earlier seasons, but maybe it was just a bandana :confused:

This is a rather BELATED reply, but Jiz is amazing :D Apart from the aforementioned episodes, the personalised AIDS test results are an absolute fave. 'We all know it's only a matter of time, Lindsay, it's only a matter of time.'

I am up to date so have now gone back to watch season 1 (FINALLY) - I know everyone has said it but I can't believe how cheap it looks! I don't think it's even in HD :o My favourites are Tammie and Ongina (really adorable both in and out of drag), and what a treat to see fashion journalist and best selling author Merle Ginsberg again :eyes:

I don't know if this is associated with Logo this week starting to ask for fan favourites for every series?

Do you think they could be launching a massive version of All Stars to (properly) launch the show in the UK?
 
Wouldn't that be just the premier of season 7? Maybe they're showing it at the same time as in the states.
 
Well it being shown on CHANNEL 4 is news enough, if that's all it is
 
Interesting if it's on C4, since they had the rights to the first couple of seasons but didn't really treat the show well in terms of timeslots or promotion. If they'd stuck with it just a year or two longer I really think it could have properly blown up over here :o

I'd prefer a European version (which I think it ultimately would be anyway surely).

Although I can't say I'm not intrigued at the thought of seeing contestants of the same caliber as the queens that used to grace the Big Brother's Bit On The Side audience. Glasgow's Dee Halliwell would be some of the most harrowing TV imaginable - her cover of Britney's 'Gimme Cock' (every bit as rank as you'd fear and hope for) still echoing in my brain to this day.
 
I've been investigating some of the queens' musical output recently - maybe it's just me but the Jinkx Monsoon album is genuinely really good :o I like that she kept it very true to her style rather than farting out some club traxx, which seems to be the done thing a lot of the time.

Oh and we saw Alaska last week. FABULOUS but the highlight was seeing that FUCKING RANCID SQUEALING PIG in action.
 
I'm imagining her catching sight of you and those sirens from Kill Bill suddenly starting up :D

I've really been enjoying Alaska's Youtube videos recently - it's funny, based on their post-show stuff I like her FAR more than Sharon, whereas on the show it was completely the other way around.
 
This seems to be the way. Alaska has really come into her own. Sharon is just a fucking mess (and not in a good way).

I was mildly obsessed with that about a week ago :D Willam seems quite subdued by her usual standards, but Alaska really is everything. AAAANUUUUSS :disco:

Watched it the other day and it did make me laugh. However at 0:47 it doesn't sound like Laganja at all because it actually sounds so much like Ben DeLaCreme :D
