It's a very misleadingly titled video. There's not much about Drag Race UK in it at all, never mind any unveiling going on.

It's mainly about Bimini's life, their politics and the state of trans rights at the moment, although it was recorded just prior to the Supreme Court ruling.

I was happy to watch it as I find them quite a compelling interviewee, able to communicate in a really authentic way. But anyone hoping for the Drag Race UK exposé that title implies will be upset.

That's good to know because I would very much like to hear what they would say if asked questions on how the show works versus the finished product etc. But I'll definitely still watch it at some point - the just before bed suitability is indeed quite high by the sounds of it.

I was in Hull the other week (which I was shocked to discover had four gay bars next to each other) and we went into one for a few drinks. It was a week night, dead, and karaoke was on. There was a drag queen "hosting", but mostly just waiting around hoping someone would do something, and I thought I recognised the name.

Anyway, it was Miss Naomi Carter from Drag Race UK. I "sang" a few times later along with the other seven people who turned up.

I don't remember a thing about her time on the show, but she was lovely.

Didn't know who Tove Lo was though when I requested "Borderline"
