They are awful, but that's a good song choice for them in the sense it sounds like an S Club song already? (Posting here in full for those of us who don't have Spotify)

Although having googled Now United I'm less surprised by the suitability, because it appears to be EVIL POP BARON Simon Fuller's latest scheme to enslave young hopefuls into a music troupe with too many members for them to ever see a significant taste of the profits:

Now United (sometimes abbreviated as NU) is a global pop group, formed in West Hollywood, Los Angeles County, USA, in 2017 by Idols creator Simon Fuller. Originally, the group consisted of 14 members from 14 countries.[2] The group currently has 7 active members; 13 have either left or are inactive. Each member represents a different country with the possibility of adding new members from other countries and also a possibility of passing the representation to a new generation of members.

Why does Tina not age? What kind of satanic pact is in place here?

Lisa Maxwell should have been called the moment she bowed out.

That new song is nice and it sounds like Rachel anyway.

Clearly the ex-twink wasn’t available for the second photoshoot but they were able to find an 80s lesbian to stand in for him

Hi Finn, thanks for expressing an interest in Now United!

I'm on hand for any questions you may have, and you can find a thread all about the global supergroup here

On behalf of myself and all the Uniters around the world, welcome aboard!

You know I DID think "wow they really did flop if even dUb isn't aware of them" when I was reading up on them this morning

I’m always bewildered when people ask this sort of question because the answer is invariably and very obviously EXTENSIVE SURGERY AND FLATTERING FILTERS

GOOD GENES. 💋

I definitely wouldn’t say Tina has had extensive surgery. She looks the same, so I would say she definitely has good genes.

I’m going for a face full of Botox because I want to look the same as when I went in. :)

So the S Club single seems to have two of the same writers as the Now United song, BUT someone on Popjustice says someone who's heard it says it's NOT the same song

Ooh it seems CATHY DENNIS is involved, she didn't have a credit on the Now United track

I did read the song is meant to be a tribute to Paul, not sure how some terrible cover would be a meaningful tribute

The S Club song isn’t the same song as the Now United one though it does share two of the same writers. I have a feeling what happened is that they’ve taken the Now United song as a blueprint and Cathy Dennis was brought in to sprinkle her magic.

With Steps on a hiatus might they have a gap to fill?
