S15 E03: All Queens Go To Heaven

Ok this felt like an episode on crack. Only 40 minutes.

You really couldn’t get much from it as it zoomed by. Sasha was a good winner and Lux was the other standout.

Selina is horrible. What the fuck was that runway.
 
I'm OBSEEESSSSSED with the twins :D Aww the way those mean girls just wrote Sugar off and she just went to the side (...but also cuz she's an annoying dumb bitch :D). The iconicness is off the charts.

Sasha was EXCELLENT. The neck break was so funny. And still loving Anetra and Marcia.

Amethyst, Salena, Jax, Aura, ALL rubbish so far.
 
This went quick and the the segments were cut short EXCEPT the goddman sob story? Was there even a judge deliberation segment?
Anyway shame the guy who left was cute.

Yeah it's a crap bunch. The Twins, Eureka lite and Anetra are what's interesting. Ultra butch stud Aura Mayari kissing his bicep last episode made me throw up.

Well I thought it was a decent episode. The concept was fun and none of them totally flatlined (probably because they were allowed to write the material themselves rather than rely on some Godawful script). Definitely felt rushed though, I was hoping WowPresents+ would extend them a bit given they're clearly limited by MTV.

I was quite confused by Poppy being sent home, but it made more sense after watching Untucked. Still quite concerning that they appear to be burning through the comedy queens though.
 
Oh and I've done a u-turn in Sugar & Spice, they're great. They both seem to have really good attitudes, and they totally know what they're doing.

At first I was a bit 'WHO?' on the guest judge, but she was clearly a big fan of the show, her Untucked section was really nice.
 
An abbreviated format where the interesting bits were cut out and the sob story left untouched? Ok. It’s going to be really interesting next week with twice the usual number of Snatch Game players :eyes:
 
I think we were all deluded to think that it was the sob story that was going to be cut shorter.

The neck break, Anetra’s attitude on the runway and ”her Olympussy is on fire” were the highlights of the episode for me.

Also loved London’s and Amethyst’s outfits.
 
I feel like I have no idea who the queen who left is (haven’t watched Untucked yet) but from what we could see she was rather rubbish.

He did look very evil and cute though. :horny:
 
It was a decent episode. It flew by but I didn't mind that. So long as they don't give us the speedy runways like they used to.

Sasha seems like an obvious winner (or at least finalist). Otherwise I'm not sure yet. I liked Lucy's Dolly but she's a little whiney. Princess Poppy was the cutest boy but a little rubbish this week. I agree with the lip sync result too. I did like her parasite puppet last week.
 
And I don't think Selina is horrible at all. She was good in the challenge and theirs was easily the strongest. Her runways are a lot but she has a vision.

- Salina's dress - what a BOOT :D Arguably worse than the infamous LaLa Ri one as it came pre-prepared!

- Amethyst's dress - what a BLESSING :disco: One of those lip syncs where you just know from the OFF that what they're wearing has won it for them. It was almost a shame she ditched the train!

- Adored the winning concept (thought they should have all got badges though really). I thought the Jax team concept was pretty BALLSY actually, basically being one long letter to how awful DragCon must be for queens :D
 
Well, so far so good re:eliminations - I didn't say last week but I got the scent of evil from her. Also the eyes always looked ANGRY. Maybe because she read the Amazon returns policy, which is the only explanation I have for her looks so far. As Pixie Polite (god I hate that name) showed, if you're a quote-unquote comedy queen you have to be likeable.

The skits were ropey as fuck, although the team Anetra definitely walked their fucking ducks - the neck breaking thing was funny and totally baffling. As for the rest, sitting alone watching this, I even vocalised an Oh Goddd after the Jax one.

Felt really rushed too - 40 minutes was crazy, and I'm worried this season won't have any breathing room. Maybe once some queens have gone it'll allow a bit more room elsewhere? I'm surprised anyone thought the backstories would be shortened, and I'm fine with it - i think having those sorts of discussions on screen IS important (even if hard-boiled fans like us have seen it often).

Also why the fuck did Amethyst take off that big gold thing in the lipsync? That was definitely the best thing to use for this song. It's not like she took it off so she could do another jumpsplit?

PS this isn't aimed at Amethyst but while I love a jumpsplit, watching queens who weigh about 40kg doing them just has no excitement, it's like throwing a cheese-string on the floor
 
I have zero recollection about most of those runways- it was WAY too quick! The whole episode felt rushed, I don’t feel I know any of the queens yet and, yes, of course, the fucking sob story. About the only bit you could happily have left on the cutting room floor.

The actual challenge was good, though, I enjoyed them all really, though definitely the first team was best.
 
Just seen next week's preview. Won't spoil it, but saying a joke that the person already made in a voice that barely sounds like them is not worth Ru's skinned alive laugh-scream.
 
I liked it :o better than some of the original songs (including Sugar’s).

I don’t mind a drag Queen rap but if it’s so fast you can’t make out any words, what’s the point?
 
Salena's look was so awful. It's that basic ass size-72 CALIBRI FONT for me. 🚮🚮
