S15 E12: Wigloose - The Rusical!

One of the better Rusicals really. The bottom two felt fairly arbitrary, but Salina was the clear weak link compared to the others and they're really going all in on the Loosey villain edit.

The visual of Salina lip syncing to Running Up That Hill with those stupid inflatable hands was the biggest laugh I had all episode.

I love the drama and I love the two cunty queens but I didn’t enjoy this episode, I feel like there’s a line that they have crossed. Loosey is too delusional for her own good, but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to bully her. For a show that prides itself in speaking against bullying, they’re enabling exactly that.

Yeah they’re fully gaslighting Loosey which is fun to watch but it’s not nice.

I was tired and falling asleep during the episode so I missed some parts but I didn’t think Sasha did good in the musical and the raccoon eyes looked terrible.

Anetra looked great during the musical so I guess that’s why she won?

The editing could have swung it anyway but Selina had to go simply because she’s just not as good as the remaining queens.

Anetra looked great during the musical so I guess that’s why she won?

During her solo part we got to see the judges looking moved and almost teary eyed, so I guess we were meant to think it was fantastic.

I could never tell who’s best in these challenges, and this time I really think they all were on same top level.

The musical itself was not the best, however everyone in it was really good indeed.
Estitties won the lipsync hands down but it was clearly her time to go plus it’s way more fun to keep Loosey for some extra drama after that question from Ru on the runway

OMG at the reveal that there was an un-aired Mandy Moore lip sync in Season Six

Just goes to show how constructed the whole show is though. I can't even remember an episode when Bianca would have been in any danger of falling into the bottom. The two times Laganja was in the bottom were Snatch Game and the Standup challenge, and there's no way Bianca could have been bottom for those, so it must have been a week when they completely re-wrote the narrative.

Also kind of throws Bianca's negative reaction to Bendela claiming she was 'Sailing through' into a new light if there was a week when she was in the botttom but production chose to pull it.

As much of a hatched job this edit of Lux (presumably being asked to) going through them, that generic line and cut-to shot of Loosey was hilarious as we knew that was going to be the pay off, but the editors are not fooling any of the seasoned watchers surely.

Well, I would have had Lux bottoming with Titties. That store bought runway was one of the worst ensembles there has ever been. It was embarrassing to even look at. Okay, let's get this lip sync over with.

So I would not have saved Loosey based on that lip sync. I wanted at least some nods to the original choreo (especially with those lobster gloves - loved Ross's line there, which he seemed to forget when claiming not to have noticed them).

Yeah I think that’s just a bit, a “yes and” moment

I honestly think anyone could have won this week. They gave Anetra the win because they need to put her on more level-pegging with the others as we head towards the finale.

I knew they’d be keeping Loosey as soon as Luxx unleashed her verbal essay (which, as an aside, is blatantly going to become the most popular spoken word piece for local queens to perform since Aja’s ‘Linda Evangelista’ rant.) The top four is so blatant at this point so they are relying hard on her fucking up next week.

It’s hard to know how to feel about our girl Loosey. They can’t edit in anything she didn’t say and I agree that the DELUSION is there. I also agree to an extent with the idea that she is desperate to be seen as a nice girl even when her motivations are self-serving. However, Luxx and Mistress are also clearly bullies and get off on it… especially because it is so easy to wind Loosey up.

I'm glad its not just us (as in me and Mr RoM) who thought this. It felt very uncomfortable and it's even worse because she seems to have no allies.

Mistress is a CUNT. And I'm struggling with that because she's funny and offering something juicy that this season is lacking, but the more time goes by the more clear it feels that's she's just somehow trying to overcompensate for her own issues...and the fact she really isn't very good at all. Bitch has failed more tasks than succeeded and 100% didn't deserve her challenge win. I don't know how she hasn't lip synced. That challenge where they had to improv-interview people (which incidentally, Lux should have won not Sasha) was a disaster for Mistress, beyond inept and a clear bottom 2.

Sadly, Loosey is rising to it all too easily, and a combination of that, her own desperation to succeed and actually not being very good herself, means it's harder to sympathise. But it's still clear bullying and I dread where this is heading.

...the musical was brilliant though. Everyone was great, songs were strong, but unfortunately Loosey probably was the correct bottom 2 with Salina. Dreadful lip sync too.

I think Anetra WAS the correct winner but for none of the reasons they said The scripted nonsense about how that speech was perfect for Anetra (and fair enough, it might have been) and then saying she embodied the spirit and meaning of it beautifully etc...like fuck she did, she just did a perfectly adequate lip sync but it was not this emotional performance or anything of the sort It was FINE but come on

The reason I feel she won is for everything leading up to that, she was perfect as the "host" who introduced the set pieces or whatever her role was, I thought that was what she embodied perfectly (as well as looking stunning), all of which the judges neglected to mention in favour of a false heartstrings storyline, which actually undermines what Anetra did there but never mind...

This show is so fucking stupid. When's the next episode?
