Not a bad episode, the reads we got were all ok but then we only got one read per girl.

Again Lucy was good but i just can’t get excited for anything she does. She’s always good yet meh.

Lux has grown on me a lot, the delusion/confidence is cute and she looked amazing. Sasha also looked great even if it was a bit too J Lo.

I felt bad for Amethyst but good lord those ruffled panties were hideous.

Estities is my enemy, the voice, the looks the everything. just no.

Luxx' look was fucking gorgeous. And I am NOT a prints girl. The delusion is completely insufferable, but you just can't clock her.

I really can't stand Jaxx. I get ZERO DRAG from her.

Mistress' messy ass is impossible to hate :D And Also loving Malaysia.

I don't understand how Spice wasn't bottom. All the bottom looks bar maybe Amethyst were stronger.

Ross is getting more patronising with each season.

Selina's lip sync was great.

Ok episode. Lux was everything on the runway, but that’s really the first time I get excited about her. Still not feeling Lucy.
Can we chop Jax, Salina, Robin and Spice all in one go please?

I feel bad for poor Amethyst, I just love her Jewish woman from the 80’s and prior that she always gives on the runway, but it was obvious that her time was up.

Jaxxx and Aura; handsome boys, they should quit drag and join the pit crew because I don’t want to see more of them as queens.

My favourite part was when Ru said ”and speaking of messy…” about Selina. :D

I know people hate it but Ru laughing is always a moment, the more hysterical the better.

Damn did no one watch the episode?

I did but have fuck all to say…it wasn’t particularly interesting.

The challenge was a great idea, but the product was underwhelming. There's a severe lack of runway sewing queens this season which is absolutely unacceptable.

The Pit Stop with Detox was better than the episode

I know drag race fans are hungry bitches, but it DOES feel very lacking on the runway this season…

I don’t think it’s a very strong crop of queens as well. Like last season you had Willow, Angeria, Bosco, Camden all shine through immediately.

Anitra was good the first week but has faded a bit and other than that…mistress is good but she hasn’t done anything major but I struggle to see a star in this group.

I feel like Sasha is far and away the strongest. Loosey (sp?) is up there performance wise but is let down by her workroom stuff and confessionals.

I do think I like it more at this point than the last two seasons. I like that we're getting actual eliminations, and I think the shorter episodes will find their pacing when there are less queens. I'm not feeling the urgency to watch like the best seasons did, but it's fun.

Yeah, I feel like there are still far too many queens for there to be anyone REALLY jumping out, which is a bit crazy this many weeks in. Ru reading out the endless list of safe queens every episode is still my biggest laugh every week :D

I actually don’t hate Salina. She’s dreadful at the challenges, but she seems nice enough beyond that.

Sasha is clearly head and shoulders above the rest, but I can’t see the first MTV season crowning a queen in her late 30s.

Salina is fun, and I've sort of come to anticipate the messes she comes out in on the runway :disco:

Screaming at Spice squeezing a sob story out of having to pretend the dolls they were buying when at middle school were for someone else :D

Oh completely, Ru stepping in to give whatever girl did the Heathers an actual constructive bit of advice with the shoulders really highlighted Ross being awful there.

I'm assuming that Carson was meant to do this episode and couldn't for some reason, it makes more sense for him to judge the fashion episodes and Ross to do the comedy/acting ones surely? I'd rather lose Ross entirely and have Carson and TS rotating, but maybe that's just me :tongueout:

Also with Snatch Game and the reading challenge done are we in for endless terrible acting challenges

Oh god, I hadn't even considered that - they'll have to fill the season with SOMETHING and god knows they can knock out those scripts in about half an hour

Maybe it'll be multiple gruelling sewing challenges, like the sweatshop environment of late season 3 :disco:

I wasn't quite getting similar comments before, but I'm fully there now. I watched him interview Kathy Griffin and he cut her off telling interesting stories 3 times and I couldn't even get past the intro for his interview with Chelsea Handler (I used to really like him on her old Lately show on E!)

He made me laugh in the series trailer when a comment “and THAT is the way you win this contest/show us who you are/…whatever”, he uses that phrase so much that it’s beyond parody in the same way “the HILARIOUS Ross Matthews” did.

Maybe he’s just got meaner now he’s skinny and married

I find Carson a lot funnier/kinder even when he’s reading someone to filth - but even then it’s honest and constructive

OMG I forgot my diatribe
well I don't have that much but it was an interesting challenge - thankfully not the interior design challenge it looked like in the trailer. Is this the first time we've had a group craft challenge? I mean I guess it didn't mean much when they were judged individually but still.

Judging was fair, but tbh Luxx is really getting my tits - coasting on youth and some good looks, but the arrogance is getting annoying and the vocal fry even worse. She's being a right twat in the sneaky peek for Ep 6 too. Also her Say Something hat is saying I'm Gay M Bison.
Also I know all the drag queens are jizzing over Mistress but she's another one who is quite unlikeable, stirring up boring drama and smirking with her greasy toad head. Hated her runway too.

Sad for Amethyst but just couldn't cling on really, at least the gold Diana Ross look was a serve and the lip syncs were unexpectedly all good. Funny how that seemed to be her strong point instead of the comedy. Titties is annoying but is sort of endearingly sensitive too, and that lip sync was great, the skirt bit was planned well. Surely her runways will put her back in the bottom soon though.

With 16 queens there is a fair bit of drek so I guess it'll be another month or so before the plughole stops being clogged. Aura, Jaxx and Robin are hopefully circling - Robin's runways have been good but Christ is she boring. Jaxx seems to have no joy in her heart too, those thin villainous lips.

Still stanning Anetra and Sasha even though they aren't really doing MUCH exciting right now. I have faith.

:agnes:Anetra, Sasha

:ChiaraWink: Marcia3, Loosey
:whatsthesecret: Spice, Salina

:mrnaef: Luxx, Robin, Malaysia

:opinion: Mistress, Aura, Jaxx

IS Robin boring though? She's had about thirty seconds of screentime per episode so far, how can anyone tell? :D
