Yes you heard right, Saara Aalto and Baga Chipz (!) have just released a single together, and it's actually alright for a Drag Race alumni song, in the fact it's a PROPER song. The rap part in the middle is perhaps a bit questionable but overall, not bad.

After getting past my initial disappointment at this not being an out-and-out campfest (and Baga Chipz being autotuned to the point of hardly sounding human) I realised that this is a REALLY solid pop song! Almost better than it has any right to be.

 
I may or may not have heard this yesterday thanks to my connections with one of her backing dancers.

What can I say? It pays to know people in high places.
 
But yes, it really is much more modern sounding and better than I ever expected it to be.

Not quite sure I'm here for Baga's vox in the second verse though.
 
There’s already a thread on this in Drag Race forum... I’ll merge them together, and put in Pop.

Are they referencing Barbara Kruger with that single cover? Their artpop could mean anything.
 
I'd love a rap-free version but I'm also guessing this only got made/released due to the Baga tie-up so I guess we can't be ungrateful.
 
I'm also irrationally annoyed by Saara's torn face on the cover. I know she's upset because she's run out of TV shows to lose, but she's getting great opportunities like this big-name duet so why not crack a smile?

At least she didn’t come more or less last in Eurovision unlike some. I mean we DID tell her not to look so pinched and we DID say that people would like to see her falling to her death from the domino but did she listen? NO!

I’d genuinely be interested in a NO BAGA EDIT of this song. She just drags it down so much.

Surely Saara could at least have sprung for a Blair St. Claire?
