Sabrina Carpenter - Man's Best Friend

of course House Tour is the highlight and the best thing of this (frankly) boring album because it sounds like nothing else from it; it also resembles Doja Cat's new one a lot, which tells us the new direction Jack might be taking and doing to DEATH.
Thanks for this post coz I was about to give up on this album after the first 4 songs

I haven't listened to the whole thing yet but House Tour and Goodbye are a warm like.

Tears should push my disco buttons but it isn't doing much for me. I agree that her shtick is starting to wear thin surprisingly quickly.

I made it to track 4 and got bored. Sorry but this is a sophomore slump.

Difficult seventh album! We've all been there!

Who could have imagined that the most lauded new Sabrina song would sound like something that Louise didn't have enough room on Confessions for?

It’s a hit, the whole album is top 20, and top 14 in the UK/US.

well the proof will be in how it holds up tomorrow and midweek but that's a great start

As much as I have no interest in this album, I welcome a pop princess who can break the stranglehold in the UK of male whining pop stars. We used to just have to cope with Capaldi and Sheeran and now there’s a whole GLUT of them

I say this with the acknowledgment that Olivia Dean has been doing a pretty good job of it herself the last couple of weeks

It’s a hit, the whole album is top 20, and top 14 in the UK/US.

34 (-18) Don't Worry... 2.51m (-1.49m)

strong hold overall and quite modest drops for House Tour and Goodbye - they better rebound to become the hits!

I think it's a reference to this 1965 cover? "The masculinization of the American woman".

The album is growing on me.

I get wet at the thought of you
Tears. roll. Down. My. Thighs
. :disco:

Top five:

1. House Tour
2. Goodbye
3. Tears
4. Sugar Talking
5. Never Getting Laid

I believe Steven Meisel has taken a liking to her. He's pretty selective with his celebrities, but he's already worked with Sabrina twice.

#3 in the US and UK does not a flop make!

It also made it onto my Spotify On Repeat playlist

I've just seen it pointed out that 'Nobody's Son' sounds like (samples?) BUCKS FIZZ:

Looks like they are pushing this as the third single. I would’ve preferred House Tour or a new better track for a deluxe but it seems to be the most streamed non single.

yeah I'd prefer house tour too. she added it and Nobody's Son to the tour setlist apparently
